Mumma Rose is back for Tasha’s baby!

You’ve heard the rumours, you’ve seen the pictures and now you’re ready to be held hostage on the end of your couch, fingers ready to hide your eyes, as the unthinkable happens to poor Tasha: Mumma Rose is back!

“It’s the epitome of the worse thing that could ever happen,” says the softly spoken Isabel. “Being raped and pregnant with this rape-child - and then the kidnapper comes again - how could it get any worse? It’s the extreme chapter of the story - it’s terribly sad.”

When the workaholic Jack typically pulls out of his honeymoon with Martha, the resilient country girl isn’t gonna let her cop hubby ruin a perfectly good cottage retreat. Grabbing the gorgeous (and heavily pregnant) Tasha, the best friends hit the road for a girly weekend away. Cosy chats by the fire, red wine galloping into a waiting glass, lazy walks in the afternoon sun: perfect – right? Think again! Little do the girls know they are not alone out there in the bush… someone is watching their every move: evil matriarch Mumma Rose! The dangerously deluded leader of Tasha’s former cult, The Believers, has only one objection: to kidnap Tasha’s baby!

Kicking and screaming Martha and Tasha are held captive in some of the most intense drama scenes we’ve ever seen in Summer Bay! “They had to cut so much out of it,” reveals Isabel, “There was much more crazy hysteria: the bashing of the chains, and Mumma Rose and getting away from her.”

The scary storyline follows Martha’s eventual escape from her captives in a desperate race against time to get back to the police to help save Tash! Mumma Rose is convinced the baby belongs to her and she’ll stop at nothing to get the people and medical supplies she needs to make it happen!

Monday: The search for the lost ones is resumed after Amanda receives an extraordinary sign from Belle that she is still alive. Kim and Kit struggle with their feelings after their impromptu night of passion.

Tuesday: A misunderstanding blows Amanda's chances of a relationship with Belle. Rachel comes close to discovering Kit and Kim's secret. Drew makes a surprising re-appearance in the Bay.

Wednesday: Leah, Dan and Drew are surprised by the contents of Peter's Will. Lee’s school teacher makes one last desperate attempt to keep her from revealing the truth about her baby.

Thursday: Cassie confronts Matilda about her eating disorder. Leah and Dan are horrified when they discover Peter's car has been torched. Drew pleads his innocence to setting Peter's car on fire. Brad is embarrassed when Sally catches him on his naked escapade.

Friday: Jack and Tasha struggle to deny their increasing feelings for each other. Amanda tries to sabotage Ric and Cassie's relationship in a bid to win Belle over. Irene and Amanda face off in a fiery showdown over Belle
