  • A new Victoria for Eclipse movie?!

    Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria in Twilight + New Moon) will not be acting as Victoria in Eclipse! On Tuesday, Summit unexpectedly announced that they have cast Bryce Dallas Howard instead! Access Hollywood has a new interview with Rachelle where she talks about how shocked she was to find out -->

    “I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse,’” Rachelle said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

    “I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria,” Rachelle continued, explaining the turn of events that led to the casting change. “I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to ‘Barney’s Version’ is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for ‘Eclipse.’ Although the production schedule for ‘Eclipse’ is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for ‘Eclipse,’ never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.”

    The star concluded her statement with a regretful tone.

    “I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the ‘Twilight’ audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of ‘Eclipse’ only the very best,” she said.

    Awww :( Anyone else feel really sorry for her??

      love all the Twilight books, just finished reading them all for a 3rd time. I saw new moon there last week, and it wassssssssssssssssssssssssss BULL SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. They rushed into there lines, and the little things, like bella's bike was red in the bookand in the movie it was black, jacob never brought the bike back to get bella into trouble. And there was lots of other thing in the book that never happened in the movie. they fucked it up for me any why, dont thing ill be waithing to go see the next film's in the cinema.

      I tink new moon waz amazing! Ppl keep sayin they shuld hav done more but they can't put everythin into the movie!!! U shuld give the actors a lil credit they put their heart and soul into the movie an i tink they did they best they culd which waz exellent in my opinion!!! The book is always best .... but it was stil gr8 2 c it brought 2 life!!!! TEAM EDWARD all the way!!!

      well,

      i went and saw new moon today,

      and i was bit guttered. im a GIANT twi fan, have read the saga like, seven times now? any ways i was exited as all day and now that ive seen it, im kinda buming out.
      i think the biggest reason is because i have read the book, (alot) and i love new moon out of all the books the most. so i was expecting this movie to be the best. they changed alot of stuff, cut out alot of stuff, and really big moments of the book, like when bella jumped of the cliff, was rushed, and wasnt good enough.the ending was unexpected, because they completely cut it off, no motor bikes and a angry charlie... im just so guttered.
      im worried to see what they do with eclipse and breaking dawn......
      maybee if i hadnt read the books i would have enjoyed it.. but... i dunno, ill guess you will all see what i mean when you see it...
