The Summer
Ah the great outdoors....
It's been a busy last few weeks, and have only been inside once!
I was playing music, commentating (and getting sunburnt) at the CLIC SARGENT Charity Zipslide in Wick on the 25th July, then on the Thursday it was micing and PA for street entertainment for late ngiht shopping in Thurso
On the Saturday it was the crowning of the Thurso gala queen, then the Sunday seen us at the boating pond in Thurso for the IT'S A KNOCKOUT. Robin Young was doing all the talking we were playing the music and supplying the PA.
On the Monday it was to the RBLS in Thurso to once again supply a PA for a Scottish Concert, then a quiet week till Sunday August 9 when it was the Thurso Gala Week Beach Party. Caithness FM supplied the music, so all we were doing was using out generator to power the bouncy castles.
Hopefully I'm having a quiet week again because on Saturday I'm doing a wedding dance, in a marquee in a field with AFTER HOURS RHYTHM n BLUES band. Will be another great night witha great band.
And on September 5 I'm in Inverness for CLIC SARGENT again, at another zipslide. I must remember sunscreen this time....0 Comments 55 weeks

Last weekend
What a good weekend last weekend was for weather - well apart from if you're comeing home at 2ish in the morning and driving through fog!
Had Helen's 40th in the Backer on Friday. A good night and a great mix of music from young to old and everthign inbetween
Saturday was Andrew & Camilla's wedding, at the Freswick hall. This is one of the smallest venues we've played in (if you havent been there the hall is the size of a badmington court - JUST). Driving out we encountered fog at East Mey, and by the time we got to Freswick, we couldn't see the hall, and it is only about 50 yards from the road. After taking a wrong turn, we found it and it was a great night, finished off with a bonfire and fireworks on the beach.

First Blog
Hm ok this if my first BLOG, so be nice to me. If you ain't nice to me...... well there ain't much really I can do!
Right Summer is off to a great start, nice Caithness weather (for once) that means hopefully the outdoor stuff I'm doing this summer won't get washed out.
At the top of the page is a list of the public events that I have this summer, but I will update them here in the blog to, aswell as talkng about any other discos I am doing and if I have uploaded new pictures to either the album here or on the main website www.dynamicsoundsdisco.co.uk
