T 2009 continued
Well made it to ma own tent and got rudely awoke again. But this was worse! I had just stuck ma feet in a puddle in ma tent aaaaaargh. Thats what i get for getn a cheapo £14 job lol. So up at 4 am with rain lashing inside and out the tent. So what do you do? Fuckn crack open another can fuck it drunk n wets better than hungover and wet lol. Gash finaly came to his senses and thought "fuck how the fuck am i going to get home" lol. Think he had a few the day before when he came and jamp the fence lol. Sunday had started. i sat and died at the main stage for about the 1st four bands then came back to life for a bit of block party before headn of to see pete doherty. He may be a smack head but the guys a genious aswell. Note to pete: Get clean. He was great though and so were the crowd, as thought it might be a bit nedy. Got back to the main stage in time for a bit of elbow. Then sat for what seemd like hours for snow patrol and blur. Blur guitarist just got out of hospital in time to play. Well done for not letn the fans down and they certainly didnt with a blistern set. But why delay snow patrol if worst came to the worst and blur coudnt headline they could av got snow patrol to fill both slots? The arena was finishd in style with flower of scotland playd by a lone piper and some fire works. But i wasnt finishd yet. Met some people at the campsite(there names escape me) and headed for the redbull lock in for a jumping dj set.(thanks to whoever chuckd a bottle of piss all over everyone by the way. At least i think it was as theres nuthing else that showers you and is warm at 2am. But was to pissd to let that ruin the nite)and then back to there pitch for a party. Where i guess i must have fell asleep inbetween two tents lol. So got rudley awoke for a 3rd nite this time by the cops. That sn soberd me up but they just askd if i was ok n if i knew where ma tent was n fuckd off. Big thanx to nads,cath n gaz. U all made the wkend a great 1. The yearly t in the park review
Well what can i say! What a weekend. Friday: got tent set up for lunch time and then started a light drinking session pmsl. Was pishd for about 4pm and then it was time for the santa clause outfit to go on and go and see the bands. James morrison kicked it of at the main stage, im not a huge fan so he was ok. Then idlewild at the nme, now thats what im fuckn talking about. Totaly fantastic. Franz ferdinand and kings of leon finishd the night in style. The kings of leon blew the place away with nearly a two hour set. After that it was back to the legendry t campsite. where i went a wee wander on ma own up to the boom bus. Then i might as well be honest i cant remember a fuckn thing after that untill about 5am. When i was awoken by two strange guys! Oops id crashd out in the wrong tent pmsl. I even had the cheek to ask them for 5 mins till i sorted ma head out lol. So onto sat and woke up and had some hotdogs (cheers cath, but well seeing the cooking went out the window after that lol) and a can a cider to wash it down here we go again. Bjorn again. Well what can i say but it was a giggle. Calvin harris, now theres a guy who knows how to work a crowd it was bouncing. Then it was the slam tent claude von stroke had it jumping when i walkd in, and beardyman was awsome cant beleive 90% of it is human beatbox. Thats why hes uk champion i guess. Back up the main for paulo nutini and james, not slating them they were great when you could actuly hear them the sound system let them down big style get it sorted t! Thats 3 years running the sounds let the main stage down. Shame i cant say the same for the speacials. I wish it had broke totaly lol. Just not ma cup of t in the park though. Then the gash jumpd the fence and got us near the end of the day(gash your a fuckn nut job but a love ya lol)to suprise us all. Razorlight and the killers rockd kinross to its foundations to finish up a fantastic saturday night and i even found ma own tent. CONTINUED ON NEXT BLOG X0 Comments 128 days
