- Sparky is, at six years old, still just a baby African Grey living in 'sunny' Bellfield, Kilmarnock.
For an unknown length of time, Sparky was taught only the most useful things a parrot needs to know, like how to mimic lines from the classic Scottish sitcom 'Still Game' and how to ask for some Irn Bru. After a while, he was able to speak such lines as "A wee jobby, mummy", "I'll kick your balls, son" and "Aw for fuck sake!"
His ever-faithful owner James eventually recorded his sidekick on a digital camera, submitted the result (after a bit of editing work) to YouTube and Sparky was, as James said on his Rude Tube feature, "an instant hit"
With nearly a million views on YouTube as of this writing, it's no surprise a group like this has been made. So please, although Sparky will be alive another fifty years or so, he would very much appreciate any comments and love you have for him!
