A social worker in the department slammed over the Brandon Muir killing is facing 15 charges of serious misconduct.
Andrew Bennett worked for the Dundee City Council unit which was criticised after tot Brandon was killed by his mum's lover last year.

Yesterday, a Scottish Social Services Council hearing revealed he'd been suspended for failing to process referrals on vulnerable people.

He now faces a string of charges including failing to protect an infant.

Another alleges Bennett did not risk-assess a man charged with attempted rape, who was later accused of another attack.

The social worker's manager Dominique Chawin told the panel: "Some of the referrals were really high-priority cases. I can't understand it."

Bennett admits failing to log referrals between November 2007 and August 2008, but denies it affected his clients.

He also denies two charges of failing to keep confidential info secure.

The hearing continues.

Its been revealed that Heather Boyd, the junkie mum of Brandon has been rehoused in Perth, She has a newly decorated and furnished flat, which is located near a children's charity base, and several large schools.

People in the area are obviously not happy about it, and are taking matters into there own hands,
A protest is planned for Thursday this week outside the flat where Boyd is living.
I'd like to make it clear that this protest is in no way connected to this page and i would advise the members of this page not to go along to the protest.

The other day a window was smashed at the block where Boyd lives, however the person got the wrong flat and ended up smashing a window of an innocent elderly man living above Boyd.
Many of the flats in the area have children and elderly persons living in them, and someone could have easily been badly hurt by this act of violence.

Its also been reported that she has not been seen at the flat since the story broke that she was in Perth

Going along on Thursday to her flat will only cause more trouble, the flat is near schools, and the planned protest is due to take place at a time when children could be around, and there is a risk of harm to innocent people and passers by.

Anyone going to the protest risk getting themself into trouble with the police, especially if anyone was to cause a disturbance or show violence in anyway.
Even if the planners of this protest don't intend on it being a vigilante act, there are always a small minority of people who may turn it into one.

There are better ways of getting rid of Heather Boyd from the area, and showing up at the flat will be seen as a vigilante attack.

Arranging a petition, contacting the council in numbers to complain are the best was to rid Perth of Boyd.

The law is, and sadly always will be on Heather Boyds side, she will be seen as the victim and treated as one, moved around from new flat to new flat all at the expense of the working tax payer.

Again I'd like to make it clear the planned protest is in no way connected to this page.

Due to controversy over Allans political career, it was decided that Allan would open a new page to keep people up to date with safe guardian laws and his political campaign.

This page was set up at the end of February 2009 after Heather Boyd walked free from court.
The page was set up and managed solely by Lou, with only her logging into the page to manage it.
This page was set up as a memorial to Brandon Lee Muir, a place for people to leave their thought and tributes to Brandon, and as a place to arrange a balloon release to celebrate Brandons 3rd birthday in April 2009
We also arranged a memorial fundraiser to help raise money to pay for a memorial bench. The fundraising gig was held and we raised over £600 at the gig, along with over £200 in donations from the public.
The bench was put in place in September 2009.

As of 23/10/09 it was decided that Allan would set up his own page to deal with his Safe guardian law, and political campaign, as some people felt Allan may be wrongly using this page for his own political gain.
Although we are grateful for the effort Allan put into getting Brandon justice, it was decided he would have his own page to allow him to carry on with the political campaign he started, and we wish him luck with it.
This page was only ever meant as a memorial to Brandon and that is how it shall remain.
