Thats good im so glad ur enjoying it! Have u met many people down there yet? Yeh im same sometimes i feel bit out of my depth too! well im working the 3 days mon, tues and wed and iv got 6 wards and 3 clinics in a month. so i suppose its quite a lot but some of the wards are fairly quiet so its not all bad. Ive mainly got nutritional support too. Only had an NJ feed but he came off it a day after i started so i didnt really hav to do anything! think i may end up wi few feeds next weeek and cause there are people on holiday we have to cover there wards too!!

Finished in inverness on friday so im goin to have to look for another job down in glasgow me things!!

Hello Jenny! Hows life in the big bad world? I heard u got a job but cannot think who told me that or where u r! How r u liking it?

It took a while to recover from placement and then exams but myself and Cat finally did it and got our degrees! I decided to give dietetics a miss after 4 years and instead I am now working for an all round company wich sells fire fighting foam, absorbents etc for the oil industry and also cleaning chemicals! Spending half my time in purchasing and the other half im to b out on the road selling! Get my first sales training course on Monday so its all go, much has changed!

Was thinkin we should set up a bebo group thingy with all the dietetic ppl from our year so we can all keep in touch as most of us r on bebo, wot do u think?xx

Yeh results were quik but there was like only Cat and I doin all the exams and then Ruth and Caroline E also who did one! Cant believe we r actually finished!

Not sure wot im doin next, parents on at me to get a job, but bn doin random things since last week like goin to Northern Ireland for a couple of nites to c family, just glad for the break at the min!xx

Oh ace, thats brill! sheffield a grand little place, very central. There's a brilliant shopping centre there called meadowhall, it's huge! yip Katie has started and is getting on great. Ya i don't think it's gonna hit me till the end of september when I ain't packing a bag and hitting for the airport. You know anybody down in Sheffield? Have you got your accommodation sorted? Gonna be working as a rep, will be covering the south east of the country, mostly hospital based. It should be good fun, will keep me out of trouble for a while anyways where are you at the moment then?

I have an interview in Aberdeen in a few weeks but im gutted coz it means im gonna have to sell my connect festival ticket and I've been looking forwards to it all year but I guess job hunting has to come first

Hey hows you?

I'm back on placement, probably just for the 4 weeks! Seeing extremely complex patients on TPN, elemental and the like. One such 'nightmare' involved me arranging for the docs to prescribe a pancreatic enzyme not in stock in the hospital! Lots of running around after pharmacists and consultants! The same patient when I asked for help needed the gastro dietitian to ring me back as she wasn't sure the best plan of action! I feel like a specialist dietitian!
