It has been announced that Bon Jovi's 11th studio album; 'The Circle' will be released November 10th. It's first single 'We Weren't Born to Follow' is available for download now. Tour Dates have been announced for North America & London - with another world tour to kick off in Spring, and continuing into 2011. The Book & Documentary film When We Were Beautiful to be released in October, while the film premieres Saturday, October 24th at 9 PM ET/PT on SHOWTIME. MSG DVD release: Nov.20th

      The world's biggest rock band Bon Jovi will be performing an exclusive show for Radio 2 at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House on Tuesday 3rd November at 8.00pm.

      This show will feature classic hits and tracks from their new album, The Circle.

      Richie Sambora's battle with booze and drugs inspired our new album, says Jon Bon Jovi:
      JON BON JOVI looked across a TV sound stage at the musician he calls his "right-hand man" and knew it was time for hard talking and tough decisions.
      His group, Bon Jovi, were recording an Unplugged music special and he'd just watched best mate Richie Sambora fluff the opening guitar lick of their 1986 hit, Wanted Dead Or Alive, three times in a row.
      As the studio audience shifted uneasily in their seats, Jon knew he had to stop his friend, who was strung out on pills and booze, from killing himself.
      Jon, 47, said: "I saw a guy imploding and self-destructing. It broke my heart.
      "Richie should have been dead. I cried for him. I was at my wits' end. What do you do? "Thank God the show was being taped and wasn't live. We had another guitar player as backup, knowing that if Richie f****d up completely the show could go on.
      "He'd already missed a gig in Puerto Rico ... we played without him.
      "The four of us - me, bass player David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres and Richie - went into a room, closed the door and sat down.
      "There was no yelling, no screaming. I just said to him: 'You broke my heart'.
      "That was enough for Richie to understand directly what we meant. My words were careful. There was no reason to point fingers.
      "It took that incident for him to realise he had better get it together."
      In 2007, Richie's life went spectacularly off the rails when he was divorced from actress wife Heather Locklear after a 12-year marriage.
      A few days later, his father Adam died of cancer. Richie was addicted to painkillers and alcohol. He had also been put on probation for three years for drink-driving.
      "Richie said: 'I understand. My hands are shaking. I can't deal with this'," revealed Jon.
      "He's an only child so it hit him very hard to see what was happening to his dad.
      "He was also going through a divorce, where there was a kid involved, so there was a lot of trouble at home.
      "Had Richie resisted the help we tried to give him, I wouldn't have threatened his job.
      "At the end of the day, it's only music. You can't play, you've embarrassed yourself. Gone as he was, he knew it.
      "It was easy for him. He could get away with it. I didn't need him to write the songs.
      "That's why our 2007 album, Lost Highway, was much more me than we. I could have kept making records without him. He'd just have showed up for the photo session.
      "But when you have such a close relationship, our words cut deep.
      "There was no need to say anything more. Richie got it."
      And the guitarist has not forgotten what Jon did for him.
      "Richie thanks me every day ... 100 times over," said Jon. "He's not shy about telling someone he loves them and thanks them for their friendship.
      "He's a very emotional human being, not one who hides behind some kind of demeanour ... he's very open.
      "Wait till you see Richie now. He's lost 20lbs, is rock hard and plays his ass off on this record.
      "He knows this album is all about him."
      Bon Jovi release the album, The Circle, on November 2. Jon, who's boss of the multi-million-dollar corporation which handles the group's interests, says it is an attempt to draw a line under Richie's problems ... and kick start the next phase of their 26-year career.
      The cover features a shot of Jon, Richie, David and Tico in a huddle - to convey the unshakeable bond between them.
      "The Circle wasn't a conscious effort to reinvent the band," Jon told me.
      "Last October, we decided to put together a greatest hits album, so I started to write new songs. But there wasn't a lot in the way of subject matter.
      "There were a couple of girl songs. A rehab track about Richie straightening himself out. But the world hadn't changed yet and I wasn't thrilled with them.
      "Then the world crashed, hit rock-bottom, came up, rubbed its nose, saw the stars spinning and thought, 'We've got to make steps forward again.' "The following month, Barack Obam

    John Francis Bongiovi Jr. was born on the 2nd March 1962! He grew up in Sayreville, New Jersey with his two brothers Matt & Tony , and his parents Carol & John! Front man and name-sake of the world famous band BON JOVI! Jon now resides in Manhattan, New York city with wife of 20 years, Dorothea and 4 kids Stephanie, Jesse, Jake & Romeo, he also travels back and forth to his house in New Jersey where the band's own recording studio 'Sanctuary' is! Jon is co-owner of the American Football team Philadelphia Soul, he has also been involved in many works for charity including the $1 million donation to build 28 Habitat homes in Louisiana he made in 2007. In the late 1990's Jon branched out into professional acting, landing himself with leading roles in films such as Little City, The Leading Man, Homegrown and U-571, as well as Moonlight and Valentino. Jon has recieved many awards in his career, including 5 which state 'Sexiest Rock Star'!
    Richard Stephen Sambora, born on 11th July 1959. Self taught musician but mainly know as the Lead-guitarist of American Rock band Bon Jovi & songwritter along with frontman Jon Bon Jovi. Born to a Polish father, Adam C. Sambora, and an Italian mother, Joan Sienila, Sambora grew up in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He began playing guitar at the age of 12, and joined the band in 1983,replacing Dave Sabo. Richie is also a solo artist, having released two solo albums; Stranger in This Town in 1991, and Undiscovered Soul in 1998.In December of 1994,Richie married actress Heather Locklear, and daughter Ava was born 3 years later, Richie & Heather have since divorced in April 2007. He (along with Jon Bon Jovi) is part of the Ownership Group of the Philadelphia Soul, an Arena Football League football team.
    David Bryan Rashbaum, born on 7th February 1962, in Edison, New Jersey. Conributing his talents on the keys.David also grew up in New Jersey,and has been one of Jon's friends since high-school. He was the first person to be called by Jon,when he recieved the news that Bon Jovi had got a record deal. David began to learn piano at age seven. He married his high-school sweatheart, April Mclean in August of 1990,but they have since divorced in 2004.Together they had 3 children, twins, Gabrielle & Colton and Tiger-Lily.David also co-wrote the musical Memphis, which had it's off-Broadway debut in 2002.
    Hector Samuel Juan "Tico" Torres, born on October 7th,1953.He is an American drummer and percussionist of Bon Jovi.Tico was born in New York, and grew up in Colonia, New Jersey.He was band member of previous bands before joining Bon Jovi in 1983.Knicknamed as 'The Hitman', Tico discovered another talent of painting.Tico and his first wife divorced soon after the formation of Bon Jovi in 1983,he married again in 1996, to model Eva Herzigova.Their marriage ended two years later.Tico married Maria Alejandra in September 2001, his third marriage. They have a son, Hector Alexander, born on January 9, 2004.
