- Noble born, noble bred. The child of prophesy, or was it propaganda? With the drow, it's always hard to tell. She lived a charmed life, at least for a while. But Lloth is fickle, and so are her children. The charmed life was soon ended, leaving a child broken, bloodied, dead upon the temple steps. The blasphemers were silenced, the Amertet house crushed, the child of prophesy dead. All was well.
Or so they thought.
In the darkness, something spoke, something woke the child's spirit. Two entities the soul of a drow and the essence of a demon, melded- became something else in the cold darkness of oblivion . Something better. Something wicked.
And the first to fall to her vengeance were her kin. The true Spider took it's rightful place in the web. A predator was reborn in the place of a child.
As time passed, she grew, adapted, learned. She walked in sun and shadow, carving her niche. Known to some as Raven, others as Ani, and more still as the smiling bringer of death
