DRINK AND LET LIE

Players: 2+

Equipment: Die

All those years training at the Actors Studio werent wasted...



Six cups are filled with drink, although one contains something slightly stronger than the rest. These cups are lined up by the M of C so that no one knows which cups contain which drink.

Each player takes it in turns to roll a die and must finish the corresponding die number [1-6 left to right].

To add interest, after each drink, each player must keep a poker face and say "That was a refreshing soft drink!" whether or not the drink was soft or something stronger.

The empty cup is then filled with a strong drink [whether or not it previously had in or not], the cups are mixed up again and the next player must now roll.

If the player is challenged after saying "That was a refreshing soft drink", and is found to have drunk a more intensely flavoured drink, then they must play again! If, however, the challenge must take a forfeit, thus ending the game.

Try saying, "That was a refreshing soft drink!" after knocking back couple of rounds...

THE THIRD MAN

Players: 2+

Equpiment: 2 dice and forfeit cards.

Or Third Woman, Third Person, Third Umpire etc.


Each player rolls two dice, until one player throws a total of "three". He is now The Third Man and the game begins.

The Third Man now rolls for the group with the following drinking consequences:

2 - (Snake Eyes) - The Third Man has to perform a forfeit from a forfeit card.

3 - The next player clockwise becomes The Third Man

4 - Third Man drinks

5/6 - The next person clockwise from The Third Man drinks

7/8 - The next person anti-clockwise from The Third Man drinks.

9/10 - The next player anti-clockwise becomes The Third Man

11 - Third Man drinks

12 - EVERYONE DRINKS [except The Third Man]


A few rounds of this and you'll be Citizen Caned...

THE CLAP

Player: 3+

Equipment: None

Player sits round a table with their hands flat on the tabletop. The person who starts decides the direction of play and slaps their hands down on the table, one at a time. The next player follows immediately and play continues round the table. The following variations can be introduced at any time:

A double slap - changes direction of play

A triple slap - slap alternate hands only

A quadruple slap - everyone has to take a drink

Inevitably, the speed of play increases. Any hesitation or mistakes incur a drinking fine!
