Conveniently located in Temple Bar, Dublin 2, SWOPSHOP allows you to upgrade the wardrobe you have grown tired of at a fraction of High Street prices, with even greater value on designer labels.
Any reasonably fashionable and wearable item of clothing or costume jewellery can be swopped, providing it is in immaculate condition. All clothes should be laundered. Unfortunately, we cannot accept: worn footwear, lingerie or piercing jewellery.

- Q: Can I swop fifty Penneys tops for that stunning Diane von Fürstenberg dress?.......................

......... A: NO! You can only swop on an item per item basis, using one item as part-currency against another - the rest you pay in the form of a service charge. Lower end items such as Penneys' range are usually not accepted as such items are already affordable! - FAQ 2
- Q: How much is the service charge?......................

A: The amount of the service charge will depend on what you are swopping for what. If you want to swop, for example, a H&M t-shirt for the Diane von Fürstenberg dress, you can expect it to be heftier. Great value is to be had on like for like swops with service charges on this basis ranging from a palatable €5 to €10 per swop, even less if you 'downgrade' from the item you bring, and slightly more if you upgrade... Some items will be free if downgrading! Remember - your old clothes and accessories are part-currency towards 'new to you' items! - FAQ 3
- Q: So what do I do now?.........................

A: Be ruthless with your wardrobe. Do you really need all the stuff in there? What about costume jewellery, hats, belts etc. that you have worn only once or never? Put them in a bag and bring them to us (we are open Tuesday thru to Saturday). We recommend bringing 5-10 items since not all items may be of swoppable quality (wearability, demand etc.), and also to ensure you have enough part-currency for items you may want to take! - FAQ 4
- Q: What happens then?........................

A: Your items will be assessed and you will get swop credits for all that are of merchandisable and wearable quality. You can then use those credits towards other items at SWOPSHOP, keep them for next time, or purchase gift vouchers which make the ideal present for the friend who has it all and more to spare! - FAQ 5
- Q: Do you buy or sell stuff?.......................

A: SWOPSHOP does not buy items from customers as there is no guarantee that a particular item will re-sell. SWOPSHOP is committed to building the swop concept. While SWOPSHOP will sell items to customers who do not have items to trade when we have a surplus of stock, the key benefit we provide is taking away something you don't want and giving you something you do, in return for a small service charge! - FAQ 6
