Hey, everyone!
Amy here, LR's fashion editor.

I had my AS Level french speaking exam today, and I think that I've ony just stopped shaking. Dear God, I'm glad it's over!

So I'm sitting at home now trying t persuade myself to do some more revision, and I thought I'd waste a little time telling you all what LR stands for.

Lipstick Royalty Magazine stands up for what it believes in; on our one-year anniversary back in January, Rachel, our editor and one of my very best friends (through the magazine - I've never actaully met her yet)(but we're going to CSL together soon!), wrote that Lipstick Royalty always wants its cover people to stand for something - we want people who stand for a cause to be fronting us.

And, of course, I can't tell you who's August's cover, but I bet you they have a fight to fight or a reason for being here other than just that they're a very beautiful model, or whatever - because there are enough magazines out ther who simply ram a stunning girl on the cover and don't pay attention to anything other than her face and her clothes. That's wrong. Lipstick Royalty wants to see the people behind the face; we want to get to now the real people, and that's why I hope you'll all read when we relaunch.

Let's face it; Lipstick Royalty's team are just Bebo kids done good - Rachel & I met through Bebo authors, and I've been writing for her ever since. She's sixteen; I'm seventeen; what we're doing isn't impossible. Once upon a time, I'd have thought it was. But Rachel is the true meaning of "anything is possible", and she's shown me that no matter how young, everyone can live their dreams. This is what I've always wanted to do, and I'm doing it!
