About Me

Me, Myself, and I: This is a Page I'v Done on Dr Alban, as i feel he has a big influence on me and the music im about to produce using my new MiDi software and Music Controls and i hope to perform as well has he has not singing but producing! So this page is about him, a great succesful man, of which 1.6 million singles of the song "It's My Life" were sold, Which only got stopped to getting to No.1 in the UK by "All that she wants" by Ace Of Base which the group hold the most succesful selling debut album of all time 23,000,000 by 1997. He's made loads more which concentrate more on political issues poverty and race, 5 million albums and over 6 million singles, which resulted in 7 times Silver, 30 times Gold and 30 times Platinum. His hit single "No Coke" whcih got him off the mark was used to illustrate an anti-drugs campaign in Sweden.

The Music: Dr Albans Most influential Artist was James Brown, He has made master piece All over the world. I've never heard a more Rythmic music than Dr alban especially if you listen to his more dancehall approach. He then met a very succelf swedish producer called Denniz PoP a big name in sweden and he helped create Albans first Single "Hello Afica" which roughly sold 1 Million Singles hes fisrt style of music was very much dancehall and eurodance but later he moved on to a more hip-hop reggae style appproach but now in 2006 he's releasing an album which is supposedly 'Special'.
Dr Records: He created his own record company 'Dr. Records', on which he released Born in Africa, the first CD recorded completely in his Dr Records studios. He had production credits on projects by artists such as La Cream and Daddy Showkey.
Before Music: At age 23, he began studying dentistry. In order to be able to finance his university studies the music-loving medical student started making his own music. During this time Alban worked as a DJ in the well-known Stockholm club 'Alphabet Street'. Very quickly his name became widely known, especially since Alban often sang to the records he put on the turntable as a DJ. DJ René couldn't help but notice him and so the highly intelligent medical student was discovered. Alban finished his studies and even opened his own dentistry practice, keeping his disk jockeying as a lucrative sideline.

Alban i have not forgotten about u, i know that i dont listen to you quite as much as i used to but like chris says Dr Alban is summer music and must not be listened to in the winter months.
