Didn't cost me anything, I downloaded it via frostwire so it's absolutely free. Our piano quartet sucked big time because David Evans seldomly turned up to rehearsals oftently and our pianist decided to leave so now we have a piano trio with Edward on piano, Josh P on violin and of course me on cello.

Do you think that a St Peters and St Marys combined string quartet should be formed from members of the orchestra?

He wanted me to tell the girls that he was prodigy even though he considers himself just an average guy who is a somewhat a talented pianist. He is also learning percussion, flute and clarinet. Yeah I think Schindler's List is a great selection for our orchestra as a fan of John Williams, I've already downloaded the piece already on itunes. How is your piano quintet going?

I'm friends with our new year 8 pianist and he plans to do the same thing as me. Are you planning to study music at university and have a career in music?

That is very thrilling to hear! I love music and performing too as you know already, and I'm definitely going to study conducting, virtuoso intrumental performance and composition at university. It is quite hard finding people who have a definite charisma for music like me at my school because most guys just play music for the sake of it, though there is some very enthusiastic and talented guys such as Josh P and a pianist called Edward Liu who is joining the orchestra. I'm 100% standing for section leader of the cello section after Ashley leaves.

Do you play in the AYO?

Just out of curiousity, is it much of a stress being an orchestral concert master?

Yeah I guess so, our orchestra would definitely advance on playing and perhaps turned into an exceptional A-1 ensemble through a weekend camp much like our college senior concert band.

Hmm...I'm not really sure, perhaps a tour within NZ would be a good enhancement for a tour overseas. Camps can be very gruelling and fatiguing. If we are going to go overseas then I think our number one destination should be the capital of classical music: Vienna.

Haven't met him but would like to. I also did a report about his Sea Gongs as part of my assignment. The whole assignment is up on the wall of our music department classroom. Take a look at it if you get some time when we next have a workshop.

We should have him again...how come we didn't play for the Assumption Day mass this year?

Will do, he just hates him because he was told of by him for some reason at the chamber orchestra and choir rehearsal for the Assumption Day mass at St Pats last year. Have you met Gareth Farr before? I did my NZ music assignment on him.

Jason P in your section hates him but I think he is a good composer. He was composer in residence for the APO in 1999.

Are most of the girls fans of David Hamilton? If so, then that probably because of that. He is the director of choral music at your school right?

I think he mentioned we are also playing a piece from some young New Zealand composer. It would be interesting if we could play some contemporary NZ classical pieces from Gareth Farr and David Hamilton...you can tell that many of the boys and girls are fans of Gareth Farr and David Hamilton when they applauded me for making that sugestion the other Tuesday!

I know already that we are playing the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky as part of our next programe, do you know what were the other few pieces we are playing that Antun mentioned last week?

Do you have to get permission to use any of the music?

Absolutely indeed.

The thing is, I am in pre-NCEA and Reuben in the your section and Josh Ng the second oboist are in pre-Cambridge. I'm good at certain subjects but I'm not a very good mathematician which I'm working on to improve.

The year 10 guys Josh P, Jason P, Jacob and Jerome also have exams so yeah I do have pretty relaxed couple of weeks
