Moved in with the much-beloved, now living at Mill Court (affectionally known as 'Grandholme West') Happiness :-)

I'm working at Burn's Coaches, been there just over a year now, enjoying my job very muchly.

Slowing down the playing side of things at the end of the year to allow me to be a house-husband. Not. A midwife. No.

If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to update presently, etc etc etc

Music: Well, i'm a junkie for 60's and 70's music, anything produced thro' Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" does it for me. I know its not fashionable, but I like some of Tom Jones' and Roy Orbison's stuff. I'm a fan of love ballads too; The Way We Were, I Love How You Love Me, Softly As I Leave You, The Power of Love, etc. I think to have written such beautiful songs, those guys would've had to have loved and lost and been heartbroken and I found great comfort and solace in some of those songs. My all-time favourite has to be Unchained Melody. I'm taking a fancy to some recent stuff nowadays too, Amy MacDonald, Duffy, Mika, Amy Winehouse, etc.
Films: I've been a fan of the Carry-On films and their stars for years. My favourite films are, 'The Great Race', 'Ghost', 'The Big Job'. . . . .anything funny and/or with deep meaning is for me. If i'm in a romantic mood, its 'Love Is A Many Splendoured Thing'. The Days of Wine and Roses is a cracking film and very close to my heart.
Sports: I've been improving greatly, really taking this keeping-fit nonsense seriously and feeling great for it. Nothing over the top, just plenty exercise - plus I've stopped the boozing so thats helping too! YEAH!!
Scared Of: I don't like flying, Darren, really don't like flying........(brace, brace)
Happiest When: I enjoy chilling out in town with a coffee and a few friends, i live for my music and my work, but love when all is done and I'm winding down at the end of the day
What I'm Looking Forward To.....?: I dunno....I'm single, financially better off, I've moved house, leading a better, happier life - I'll think of something!
Thought for the Day: Grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference.
