Me, Myself, and I

Left Westhill Academy in 2005 and started at Aberdeen College. Studied a 2+2 HND course in Communication With Media because I wanted to be a journalist. I managed the two years at college fine, with my tutors telling me I had the potential to become a writer. I then went to The Robert Gordon University to study Publishing With Journalism, but I only managed the third year.

I then tried hospital radio, realised it wasn't for me, then completely changed tack and tried to become an electrician - I even worked as a labourer for a whole three days (thought building site experience would be handy)! Turns out I would've been too old to start an apprenticeship anyway. I've now come full circle and I'm now doing a course with the Writers Bureau, so I hope that goes well.

Music is the other big thing in my life. I like too many artists to mention. I play bass for Cerebral Inferno aswell. Hopefully we'll be gigging soon. I also have good friends that put up with a lot of my quirks!

Sports

Tried and failed to get back into using my weights, ab stool and chinning bar. Play football, jog and cycle a bit too. I'm also attempting to get back into boxing at Kingswells Amateur Boxing Club. I don't punch properly so I skin my knuckles really easy. Wimpy excuse, I know! Partial to some skateboarding and swimming too. Thinking there's no point in not drinking if I don't look after my body.

Support Aberdeen. In the Premiership I suppose it's Manchester United, with the Fergie link and all. Getting a bit bored of them winning it all the time. Wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool or someone win it now and again. Love them because of the link with Shankly. I bet I'm the only one who supports Manchester United who says that!

Scared Of

Aliens. So sure those bug-eyed bastards exist! X-Files is the bomb!

Happiest When

Playing bass, keeping fit, reading and writing.
