so after thinking long and hard, (or not really at all about the consequences) we decided to go to perth for christmas, YAY it seemed. we wanted to go back to see people we had met before, people we knew who were going to be there and then family. seemed a good idea! however, a full plan and hardly any thought had been put into the matter and to cut a long story short i kinda ended up on my own. whch was real shit at the time.. so there im am with no money and an overly large suitcase, to (again) cut a long story short i was totally screwed until i went to the atm to geta key deposit for a hostel i found, and low and be-fecking-hold theres a substantial amount in my account to last me a few weeks in a hostel (no more however) so two days of emotional sweats paid off! (in case ur wondering i found out i was owed the money from my last job in melbourne but thats just a tiny detail)

Y.A.Y thing were starting to look up, so the english girl i met last time i was there was arriving at the hostel (gemma) in a few days so i had a while to be totally by myself for the first time.. was strange but it gave me a chance to think about things which was good! so there i am in room 27 (awesome room) not many of us in there but there were two english lads. started randomly talking to them and that was that. it started off me and simon getting drunk, followed by gemma joining us, then simons mate andy and the emma c came from HK, then the magic team from room 27 was born. we spent many a night getting drunk and passing out, usually in eachothers beds. apparently i had a drunken wedding one night to simon. this is purely due to the fact he reached for the tv and brushed against me so we are legally married in 17 different countries. or so the alcohol said!

so as gemma went to spend her new years with her family it was up to remains of team ramsey to make christmas a day to remember

WE WERE DRUNK TWICE

yep... got up, the four of us played drinking games then made xmas dinner etc which was epic, check the pics. then a massive crowd from the hostel went to the beach and ran straight for the water and jumped in it was amazing! then the four of us stayed to watch the sun set which was beautiful, my first oz sunset! and then went back to the hostel sober and then did it all again. I LOVED IT!

oh hold on, i forgot to mention that we went out xmas eve and on the way home at 3am got a macdonalds! so technically our first meal of xmas was a maccers! pure awesomeness!

it was so weird being here on xmas day. it was so hot and it just didnt feel like xmas, apart from when we were eating with our hats on which i MADE everyone do it was lovely though at the same time coz everyone there was in the same situation, and were helping others through it, you could see people drift off one by one to do "the phonecall" and it was emotional. i got mine when we were on the beach and i did shed a little tear on the phone but everyone (especially the guys and emma) were there to give a little hug.

right, enough emotion! boxing day we had a family day (husband wife and two kids) out to the theme park/ water park, again more pics, which was so random to do on a day that u usually eat all the leftover food and freeze to death! (the reason why there were no leftovers is coz we hit the munchies and ate them all that night!) which then was followed by more drinking! woooop!

new years was again great! got drunk-ish and headed to the centre of town where there was a street party type thing and we went to a bar and hit the street at like 11.50, the countdown was so fun with sooo many people around us just dancing in the street! so we all had our kisses and hugs and then one song started booming from the stage we as usuall danced like maniacs! then it just stopped. literally! everything just shut down from the stage party over! was so funny, everyone was like "huh??!!" then we just went back to the hostel and kind of reflected on the ye

there are to many to list. the party in thailand and seeing the glowing fish thing like in the movie the beach. being to close to the stars in oz. where u feel like ur in them and seeing shooting stars. and many more
