    • Filming "The Race"

      Neesy and I spent last Friday filming as extras for a new movie called 'The Race'. I've added links with info on the film at the bottom.

      Neesy was playing “Female Bystander” and I was “Roy’s Dad”. Unfortunately there’s no photos of me as I had the camera but some would say that’s a good thing anyway! ;-)

      As usual with these sort of things it was great fun and all the extras had some craic in the LONG breaks between takes. The whole long breaks thing pretty much goes without saying as virtually every filming job that I've done involved a huge amount of hanging around. Top prize so far goes to 'Breakfast On Pluto' where spent 7 hours on set before I was asked t do anything!

      Anyway it was a good day if bitterly cold especially in the morning.

      Mmmm......

      Just got back from lunch with Bex & Daniel at Sakura, a Japanese restaurant on Botanic Avenue in Belfast.

      Cool to hang out with both the kids and have a nice meal at a reasonable price ;)

      I've posted a couple of pics above.

      BTW I'd thoroughly recommend Sakura to anyone. Check it out.

      good and bad. the stuff with steven looks ok so far, will just have to wait to get it into the edit suite, hope it is ok tho, dunno how i'd redo it with him bein in bradford lmao. however one of my scenes i have to reshoot cos the weather mucked it up :( sob. other than that still plenty of filming to go lol
