- Me, Myself, and I
- We are Refugee Week 2010 & we want everyone to do at least 1 of our 20 Simple Acts, to make a big change to how refugees are perceived in the UK.
Simple Acts is about inspiring people to use small, everyday actions to change perceptions of refugees.
It consists of 20 actions that can be done by anyone and that encourage us to learn and do more with refugees. With every person who joins in and does a small thing with and for refugees, we get a little closer to removing barriers between communities and to creating the kind of world we all want to live in.
Every journey begins with a single step and it is with simple acts of kindness, generosity and empathy that we can begin the change. Please join us.

We’re redefining the dictionary!
Hey.
We’re redefining the dictionary!
We want to check out what it is that we talk about when we talk about refuge.
Our very simple idea is this: to get loads of people to say what the word “refuge” means to them. The more definitions we find, the closer we all get to understanding what people we call “refugees” are about.
Create your own video and upload it onto your profile, or at www.Wordia.com
Check out some other peeps definitions at www.simpleacts.org.uk

Hey We're holding a little competition!
We're inviting everyone to take a picture of themselves with a pro-refugee banner, and to upload it on their profile.
You don't need a snazzy camera, you can just use your phone (of course - snazzy cameras are welcome).
Then either send us a copy, or a link to your page.
The most original / funniest photo wins. (and the winner gets a funky Simple Acts Journal
Take a look at some our photo's for inspiration.
You’ve got ‘til the fist March!
