Hullo there, well I have bowed to pressure from my friends and set-up this bebo page thingy. I live in the best place, Glasgow, well somewhere hot and sunny could be better. I work full time doing sound, lighting and video work, so chances are you have been to an event/ concert I was working at.

      Hullo there, to those of you who normally partake in the weekly badminton showcase. Below is the reason why there is no badminton just now, its easier to explain here, than explain the whole story to nearly 50 people in person.

      At present I was booking 4 courts at the same time first thing on a Monday morning, to guarantee getting the 4 courts, as the Kelvin Hall is pretty busy all the time, so the earlier you phone the better chance of getting them. I have 4 booking cards, myself and 3 others in other peoples names. You are only allowed to book 1 court per booking card.

      The Kelvin Hall and all other places have decided to enforce the term and conditions of the cards, which points out that only the person who owns the booking card/ persons name on it, can phone up and book a court. So it basically means I cannot call up with 4 card numbers and book 4 courts.
      So what would need to happen is I call up 1st thing on Monday, book a court, ask what area the court is in, then call someone else, who would then need to call the Kelvin Hall and book a court in the same area, then that person would need to call the next person and so on and on and on. As you can see this is not only time consuming, but a pain in the ass.

      I have written to the managment at the Kelvin Hall to see if I can get special dispensation, so I am waiting to hear back from them. So until then badminton is on hold.

      I hope that all made sense and ur not bored, I do have a plan B up my sleves, it would involved leasing a number of courts for 6 months or so, its a bit more money but its a plan B.
