I recently made the tough desision to tell my class. Suprisingly, no reaction! If you act like it doesnt bother you, the kids won't. Be proud of your uniqeness, folks!

I ave High funtioning Autism.. and it feels so know 2 no dat i'm not alone... in mi old Maintstream school, dey used 2 throw stones at me.. steal my stuff, throw yogurt on me, n used 2 bully me outside lessons.. callin' me freak.. spaz retard... u name it... im a Yuugiou fan.. n i was called da Yuugiou freak in mi old mainstream skool.. teachers never understood mi problems at all.. one teacher made me put her banana skin in da bin.. n 1 teacher called Mr Perrins said 2 me... cos, i also av asthma 2.. n mi asthma was bad dat day.. n i told him, i wanted 2 go home.. he said exactly this ''If you keep on lying, then you'll go into hosiptal'', teachers treated me like was a freak.. mi mum n dad.. was always up da school.. tellin' da teacher over n over again.. my problems, n avin' a go at a few of dem.. but i found out about my autism.. by an respesionist... talking on da phone 2 mi SENCO.. Mainstream will 'never' understand.. Autism, or Aspergers...

i was officially diagnosed at 14 years old i also have dyspraxia and MH probs too (depression,axiety/panic attack/paranoia social anx disorda etc) i think needs to be more awareness understanding and support too!

society needs to carefully listen to our personal experiences and stories as they have important meaning to them! SO STAND UP IN THIS FIGHT BE COUNTED -BE HEARD!

the sooner more people join and tell the better our world will become more open and free at last we've been waiting for! more services need to be widely available and accessable to everyone affected (sufferers and families!) teachers need informal training in this area! it CANT come Fast enough! it so hard and dificult workin mainstream we make it look EASY but it defo NOT!

i have high functoning aspergus and i cant stop talking boute World Of Warcraft XD my friends are rathor anoyed, i am a officer in a VERY well populated and mature guild ... and i am 13 and most of the people are over 18 (oldest 44 XD), so it is true just coz we have aspurges/autizem why do the gouverment automaticly give us up at school coz they think we are tards... i am a very intelligent boy and i cannot write so i get F and G grades in my exames when i know all the awensers but they cannot read my writing i am so fustrated >.< anyway, i am glad you have found me so i finnaly have got a groupe with people lyk me thx

well it depends on how you look at it. its all about confidence. i love being different now, but i used to hate it and the bullies picked up on that. their cowards at heart. they never prey on the strong. Embrace your uniqeness! I do

i walked straight up to the bullies today and said "your aware of my autism yeh? well do u think bullying me is going to cure it? no it wont. so why do u make fun of me?" and they replied "because your wierd"

is that really a good excuse?

I have it but mildly, I can get quite obsessed with things and can't stop talking about them.

The big things for me now are, anime, video games and heavy metal (or rock in general, metal is my fave type of music tho) so if I can find people who like the same stuff as me then that'll be brilliant.

The thing I can't stand is having my fave stuff taken the mickey out of. It drives me CRAZY!
