- Time for an update.........
I'm Jono, I live in Palmerston North. I've been here for what seems like forever and I'm spending at least another half a year or so up here. It isn't as bad as what everyone says........
I'm a Christian. I'm far from perfect, which is why I need Jesus even more than ever in my life. He's pretty much the man. I don't go forcing people to believe it, but they should at least have a look at it before dismissing it. It's what I did and look where it got me. Chur.
I've got my degree now (Bachelor of Communication with a conjoint major in Journalism Studies and Communication Management with a minor in Media Studies), just have to do the flash ceremony. However, I'm taking a year off study before I do postgraduate studies in Wellington. So I'm going to be working at StageDoor Cafe, doing some casual journalism work for a few people and playing music in my band Ruski.

So I just had my flat robbed. My mates TV, PS3 and games and hard drive were stolen. I had my laptop and external hard drive stolen. These have all my music, photos, writings and - most important of all - Ruski's demos on it. We were just recording a song that we were going to enter into a competition to win a $5,000 scholarship. Not blowing my own trumpet here, but it was a pretty good song that probably would have been right up there.
I feel sorry for people who have to rob, for whatever reason. There is really no excuse to do it other than greed. I feel sorry that they have to rob people to feel good about themselves. I feel sorry that they feel like they have to rob to keep alive. I should be angry but I actually only feel pity. Pity that they feel like they have to do this. I hope that one day, they wake up and feel good enough about themselves to stop this behaviour. All I can do is pray.0 Comments 368 days

Ruski needs YOU!!
So we're making a music video for Feathers to Leather on Tuesday night, and we pretty much need all you loyal ruski kids to help us out!
We're aiming to have a gig on Tuesday night at 1 Cleland St (or 'The Cube' as some might know it as) and basically want to film you kids going hard out with us. There will be strobes. And rocking out. Basically, fun times will be had!!
We want a decent crowd so you should all come along and rock out with us and help us make a churiffic video (so Grant and I can pass our assignment!!!)

sweeeeeet yeah i checked out the program coz i think i'll only go sat... know a few guys going for the weekend but no girls staying more than just one day apart from kate and abby who will prob be with their fams!! and no tent buddies is a bit lame, and so is taking even more time off work anyway! so im glad you're playing sat coz i'll def be there!
and i'll just say yay for stagedoor coz i have never been to flavour anyway!
yay for holidays! start my break today until jan 5, work for one day then to palmy to go to summer school in fox the day after that, so i pretty much have a month off! now the big decision is new years, eek! R n V is waaay too expensive!
