- Formed in 2003, MINE consisted of 5 friends, who wrote their own material and gigged in Aberdeen, during which they won best unsigned band in the North East through INZO Music, and became popular throughout the city.
However after 3 years of being together the band decided to split, everyone went their own ways and formed other local bands.
In 2008 a certain bass player made an impromptu middle of the night phone call to a certain singer/guitarist after a bout of inspiration about getting all the guys together for one last gig. Soon after that, the band reformed for a "one off" charity gig.
The response from that gig was positive to say the least and they have started rehearsing for future gigs and are recording an album in 2009.
So keep a look out for one of Aberdeen's best bands as they're back on the scene!

EP
After the Drummonds gig on the 3rd April, M.I.N.E are going into the studio to recored their first proper EP.
The band have decided to do this as they want to start playing outside Aberdeen, as you all know there are only a few places to play in the city, and need to travel around for more exposure.
Hopefully he EP will take up to 4-6 weeks to record an get mixed, so keep an eye on here for more info.
Thought i better add to this, with writing some new material the band have decided to wait a few weeks before doing the EP, so i can confirm that after The Moorings gig they will definitely go into the studio.0 Comments 220 weeks

Hey there... Right a bizarre proposition to get over bebo but here goes. As part of a university project, I have to find a local band and publicise them, using viral networking. So to explain further... even though you may have a bebo site, I want to make it better and create more in order to get your band spread throughout the net and therefore expand your fan base.
