• MISC End of Season Weekend

  The weekend from my perspective
  
  Right, thats me just back from Whitley Bay with the lads. Cheers to Donga for driving there and back. The ride down was fairly straight forward until we lost Gav and decided to follow Richie. We ended up driving around, getting stuck and traffic and lastly going to see the Angel of the North before we made it to the caravan. All the while trying to listen to Pedro murder a Geordie accent(which continued to happen all weekend, and others joined in to help him haha!! )
  
  The weekend was a great laugh. Thanks to the draw beforehand the caravans were a good mix of people so that there was people hanging about with a certain group more than others, although i think that no matter what the draw had been everyone would have got on just as well as they did. Once we got there we got settled in out own caravans, sorted out the sleeping arrangements and cracked open the beers, graciously supplied to my caravan by our capitan, Campbell.
  
  Once we were settled in and got changed we headed down to the bar at the caravan site to start our night. The theme of the night was pub golf. Everyone was doing fine on the first couple of holes which we did. Most people able to down there pints in 1 or 2. This was the early signs that Torro, Cleisham and Seggie were machines and that Pedro was not going to go the distance(he won't agree with me on this but the signs were most definately there ). we ordered a bit of food in the joint and i have to say, the chips were immense . Time for the third hole and things took an almighty twist. Downing his pint of heavy, Gav hesitates........then brings it all back up again . One down and very unexpected. Although i have to say the big man did stay out the night with us.
  
  Once the three holes were finished in the bar we took a walk into town to find the next bar. It was ok looking inside but it smelled extremely dodgy. We had the fizziest cider and blackcurrent on earth in there and as far as i know that was Pedros last hole too although it didn't make the grand gesture of throwing up to prove it. Bobo added a twist to this round which caught out John, when he broke the left hand only rule. If not for that he would have scored a hole in one, making it 5/6 holes in one for my caravan. As it stood we had to settle for the 4. After this round it was the beginning of the end for that pub golf as the pub lacked the required drinks specified on the sheet. We moved on to find the next pub/club and found Eden. As it was so elegantly stated, the place smelled like somebody had washed a dog in it and it was empty. We got a couple of drinks in there and left, but not before Pedro started hugging the toilet attendant lol. The next club supplied us with a the last few rounds on the pub gold before the majority of people just started drinking there own drinks. As far as i know though, Torro and Iano kept it up for a few extra holes just to show off haha!! .
  
  We finished the night in a club called Deep. It had quite a good atmosphere, some nice talent, and the dancers that were occasionally on the stage were pretty hot. One in particular was stunning . The clubbing finished up well with some extremely dodgy dancing and some worse banter lol. Once the club closed we ended up back in the caravans continuing on for a wee while before calling it a night.
  
  The Saturday was an early start and what a start it was with Campbell cooking my caravan slice rolls. The man is a legend. After that it was time to gather and go to the station to get a train to St James Park for a tour. We ended up walking for an age into town (i swear it didn't seem that long a walk the night before) and then walking some more around the town before eventually finding the station. We ended up fashionably late to the stadium but there was no problem with getting the tour. Before proceeding on the tour, many a bottles of Lucozade and water were purchased to help re-energize the troops. We h
