- This is the Bebo for fans and friends of OurStory Scotland.
OurStory Scotland records the stories of the LGBT community in Scotland. This can be done through recorded interviews, written entries, visually on camera, fictionally through theatre or poetry. There are many ways in which to participate!
OurStory also collects images, artefacts and research materials of LGBT lives, and presents this shared heritage through exhibitions, storytelling and drama.
In the true spirit of inclusion and diversity, OurStory Scotland is open to all who support our aims.

*New exhibit at GOMA, from Sat 11th April. 'Our Vivid Stories'.
*Also, a shout out to the sh(OUT) exhibit at GOMA running from 8th April to 2nd November. Works from the likes of Robert Mapplethorpe, David Hockney, Grayson Perry, Holly Johnson, Chad McCail. Some explicit content, you have been warned.

Storytelling Event - 10/1/09
The event saw Ourstory take over the studio at GOMA, with several points at which visitors could share their stories. Several people took the chance to tell their stories on camera, while the badge making set was arts and crafts in true Blue Peter style. It's a classic and effective way to express one's feelings through anything from a simple drawn symbol or scene to intricate design. The Skeleton Story point invited people to write a short work about the 'bare bones' of their experiences. Whether it related to heart or mind, the interpretation was very open. A brainstorm around "LGBT" led to a very full, cluttered, comprehensive collection of ideas, ranging from "Peace" and "Rainbow Flag", to "The L Word" and "Boys Don't Cry". Once the ideas started flowing, and more people got involved, the page developed from traditional associations to include cultural icons, tv and film, out actors and more.

As any good bear will know the 1st Friday of the month is the world famous Bears Night with Dj Jamie on the decks and fantastic drinks promos all night.
The bears night starts at 7pm in revolver and the party carries on till late in speakeasy
with DJ JAMIE on the decks from 9pm and all of spekeasy's very own bear cubs behind the bar, why would any bear head home ...
