- Andrew Thompson, now aged five, was illegally abducted by his mother Melinda Thompson (also known as Melinda Stratton) from Australia in April 2008.
Melinda boarded a Singapore Airlines flight in Sydney with Andrew and flew to Frankfurt, Germany. This is a criminal offence under the Australian Family Law Act.
They were ‘a no show’ on a booked return flight to Australia and have since disappeared.
Melinda’s family have told police and others that they have no idea of their whereabouts and that Melinda had been researching ‘safe havens’ in the weeks prior to the abduction.
The abduction took place shortly after an investigation by a leading Sydney child and family psychiatrist found the mother has an underlying mental state that affects her judgement and her ability to parent effectively.
The Court ordered that any publication must carry a warning stating no one is to approach Melinda and that any information should be provided immediately to local police.

As long as you have faith & strength Andrew will be found safe & well & you will be reunited His mother cant run forever & as he gets older he will ask more questions than she can give straight answers to stay strong for your little bloke you sound like a good dad who luvs his son unconditionaly

Missing Gareth David Koch49 weeks agoGareth David Koch has been missing since the 8th March 2004. He disappeared whilst on a trekking holiday in Nepal with Ian Napier under very suspicious circumstances that have still not been discovered. Gareth is about 5'9 (approx 1.79m) tall and of slight build. He has light brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a nondescript southern English accent.
He may also now have a beard or long hair. We hope that this site will aid us in our search for Gareth and to give information to those going to Nepal. The information on the site may act as a reminder for anyone who may have seen Gareth on their travels.
For those of you who have plans to travel to Nepal, please look through the site and keep an eye out for Gareth in the future.
