One day myself and Catherine got bored, so we decided to take a trip somewhere random. After much brain racking, hamster wheel spinning and prodding the old grey matter, we decided to go to Stratford Upon Avon.

First we went to Morrisons, where we bought some ready made sandwhiches/roll/baguettes/whateve
 ritwaswegot, some pringles (texas bbq and one of the rice infusion thai sweet chilli ones), some choccie bars, a fudge alabama chocolate cake and some juice & Dr Pepper. All this went in our coolbag we bought for Download Festival.

Amazingly after over a year of never going, I remembered the way to AND around stratford. We parked up near Cox's Yard and proceeded to find a place to eat.

We settled on a stone wall near the river and ate our lunch which was delicious! Once we had finished (of course desposing of our delectable delights in an EXCEEDINGLY nearby bin!) we walked off back into town. On the way I had to drag Caz away from a huge poster of David Tennant (that girl!) Oh well, he is a good actor i suppose.

Once back in town we decided to look around lots of shops. We checked out HMV where I bought Rammsteins "Sensucht" and Judas Priests' "Nostradamus". Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End tried to leap into Catherine's hand and use teh puppy dog eyes trick of having a LOW low prize to make itself be bought, but it was to fail as we decided not to buy it!

We also looked in GAME, which was a bit pointless as the GAME in stratford sucks lmao! We checked out a glass workshop with lots of cool glass animals, there were some good Unicorn and dog ones! Bit too expensive though so we didn't buy any haha! We looked into the local fudge shop as well but as I was full and Catherine did not have much cash we skipped on buying any tasty fudge.

After that we decided to look around Stratford to see what else we could find (I don't know Stratford THAT well hehe) We walked past Shakespeares house (yeh right says Catherine!) to find a boat load of Oriental tourists stood outside. There musta been like, a thousand of them, blocking up the pathway! (lol ok maybe not that much but still) We had to endure MILES of detouring just to get by them!!! Though after we got by we saw the most awesome shop ever! The Witchcraft and Wizardy Shop!

We walked into a dimly lit room full of...ermm.....black? With tonnes of parchment on the walls! Death warrants, runes, charters, spells and other tomes of magical mystification awaited inside. We poked around a bit (love spells wtf?) checked out the death warrants (oh I KNOW who I would use that on!) and tried to get out past some retarded teenagers who were just STOOD in front of the enterance!!! Grrrr!!!!!

After that we walked around some more while I tried to find the good ol' VHS & DVD shop, but alas I could not track it down so that idea went ENTIRELY out of the damn window. We had time left on our parking, so as to get our moneys worth we went and sat in the Beafeater pub where we had 2 bottles of nice chilled coca cola (yum yum)

Finally we went back to the car where we drove home. Though I did get lost, not that I admitted it, and went the right way, but the wrong way. If that even makes sense. Ah well, least we had Judas Priest on the entire way home which made it nice and funky! Hehe. All in all it was a grand day out! (NO NOT the Wallace & Gromit film!) haha! To top it all off I spent the entire day with the most gorgeous girl in the world, Love you so much Catherine!!!

Well my friends I think it is worth writing up part 2 of this epic tale finally, though by now i've forgotten half of it ah well! XD.

The Saturday had started and not much had happened in the morning. The Alliance awoke early to go and see our fellow warriors TURISAS play early in the morning. What a show that was, the entire battlefields warriors joined us in our chants and Snowy had a small jig to the music. A LONG wait was had after that where beer was drunk until I decided to take my leave to watch the almight Panic Cell who were quite good. The worst part was having to listen to 30 Seconds To Mars on my way to the panic cell tent BAH! Afterwards we went to see Bowling for Soup and much hilarity ensued with TWO GIANT SHEEP!!! I caught a bit of Machine Head as I walked back to the tent, tired, so I had some water to regain my strength! I then went to go and see Slayer on my own, the moshpits were fantastic as we all grappled together to their tunes. Definitely an energetic display! I waited for Marilyn Manson to start, who was a bit shit, but I later found to my dismay that my flag had been snapped by some FOREIGNERS being racist to bailey and complaining when he had it in the Manson Crowd! BASTARDS!!! Despite this tragedy (which of course I did not know at the time) I went to the far tent to wait for the absolutely AMAZING MOTLEY CRUE!!!! When they finally came on we were treated to an amazing display of music, lap danc (on the band members to clear that XD), Jaegermeister being passed around, and Tommy Lee doing the "...if i say Motley you say CRUE! " Rap. Fantastic end to the day, and one that would spawn many different raps for the rest of the evening!

We got back to our tents fulfilled by that display. The evening was filled with merriment as we all went for a walk around the festival site. We decided to take in the sights of the other campsites so we went for a walk around them all to see the various entertainments warriors had brought with them. There was much to behold, music, conversation, games.....frisbee???

We reached the tent of our fellow band of warriors Noddy & co. They were beating people up with lightsabres as well as walking around with nappies on their heads (clean ones I hope.) Upon seeing Zack they proceeded to jump him and beat him half to death with there lightsabres! Spike was so drunk he kissed over 200 men! (yes we counted) Some even joined in and went for him back, one was so into it he rugby tackled him down to the floor while kissing! I also met Craig for the first time in a while, was good to see he had also returned to the battlefield! We went back to camp and had some beers. Me and Bailey decided to check out Bloodstock Rich's tent as he didn't know where it was. We were on the other side of the fence when Sir Snowy decided to join us! He dashed back to the tent to grab a beer and climbed over the fence. But NO! He fell over and ripped even MORE of his ripped leather jacket! Laughing our asses off Bailey and I helped him up and we set out on a magical journey, pretending we were foreigners from white camp! We spoke to any natives we came across asking the way. And on our exeunt from there presence I always said "Bar weep grana wheep ninnybon" to which Bailey said "what he said." This continued all through the night as we met many amazing people such as:

TOGA MAN - a guy who resented all who thought they were cool just for listening to Finnish music, and were Finnish JUST because they had a Finland flag!
RED FIRE HEAD MAN - a guy with firey red hair

and towards the end:-

WHITE CAMP SECURITY - these guys were on our path and they were still a good laugh!

The fun for the night had been had we went back to the tents at about 3 or 4am (one of the two) and had beers and slept.

The final day of battle was awoken. The warriors were stirring in there sleep, awaiting the manegerie of greatness that awaited them that day. The morning did not seem like much, but I was awake

Yes my friends....the Alliance of the Dragonflame was ready for yet another battle. We were to return to teh site of the original battle to once again try to re-ignite the Dragonflame once again!

Warrior Tucker arrived at Sir Martin's house early in the morning...followed by Warriors Nimmo, Rysiek & Zak. The 5 departed for the festival as Sir Martin used his communication device to tell Sir Bailey that the Alliance was on its way!

The journey was good as Nimmo kept on Tuckers heels every step of the way. We arrived at the battlefield and disembarked. After much hiking across fields, bridges, stones, mud and more grass....we met Noddy and co. in their tent, all ready for the fight...and poking of Zak with lightsabres. We settled down in red camp on a hill....surely the colour of blood was a fit one for the Alliance. Alas....it was not to be....the camp was devoid of running water...so after unpacking our tents...we had to re-pack them! ARGHHH!!! BASTARDS!!!!!!!!

We were thenceforth met by Sir Bailey and a newcomer... Warrior Dara! A radio DJ and university friend of Baileys. The posse of 7 settled on a spot in White camp...we put our tents up..albeit spread out to allow for more Alliance members. I went to find Colin and my megaphone while more ales were gathered. Alas again, tragedy struck...as my megaphone was not to be..Megaphone man did not make an appearance this year .

I went to help Rysiek and Tucker with the beers while we waited for our fellow Alliance members. Sir Snowy, Sir Alfie and Captain Mark soon followed. The Alliance was now nearly full! Sir Dez Corrigan rolled in with Linzie. With all 6 Alliance of the Dragonflame members now together....our mission was now underway. We decided to put up the Gazebo (dubbed teh giziboo by Nimmo) who after having put up some of the poles FELL OVER! and broke one of the poles, so Sir Martin decided to snap it back into place with his EPIC STRENGTH!)

We started on the beers...with much shouting and walking around.....we went through yellow camp and black camp..all the while keeping quite...black camp was the QUIET CAMP! We reached the bottom half of black...and ventured down a path...but the security guards decided to get in our way and turn us back....undeterred I stole a security guards jacket and hung it up elsewhere to disorient them...I then ran away...but DISASTER!! They grabbed snowy thinking he had done it....I could not allow this miscarriage of justice to happen! So I owned up...and we got away with it..blah blah. We quickly left...vowing never to return to this dark cess pit of a campsite. Despite the LEGENDARY BEARDED MAN who had Dimebag by his side!

We eventually returned to finish drinking...and the evening was amusing...as Rysiek read out the Big Book of Little Nick...and beer was drunk! We had more mss around, and myself and Bailey went to buy a flag. We returned to see Rysiek on the floor. I sat down for 20 minutes before getting up to get a beer from my tent. I look at Rysh and notice a woman next to him.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???? I THOUGHT YOU WERE SLEEPING???" Ryshy-poo had his "fiancee" Nicola with him. After a LOT of laughter I returned with my beer! Sleep went quite early unfortunately.

Friday came about..and our mission started. We had a few beers...then checked out the minstrels for the day. Buckcherry & Hinder kept the morning eventful. Then Megadeth appeared...and Sir Martin and Sir Alfie went further in to get some energy forward. Part of Dragonforce was watched...then Sir Martin went to see Porcupine Tree who were fucking AMAZING! I then left the arena to go and help Mighty Warrior Ashley Judge and his compatriot, Jenny to our tents! I then went to see Hayseed Dixie where amazingness happened I met Warrior Rich who was a fellow warrior in arms from Bloodstock '06!!!! I spent the rest of the afternoon with him...watching My Chemical Romance get bottled because Korn was too packed out. We retired to the tents where we decided
