it's cool, i was excited just thinking about you at the concert in Belfast while i was right here
i used to be a serious Green Day fanatic myself, i wrote St. Jimmy on my bedroom walls and plastered Green Day posters everywhere. i'm not as fanatical now though, and to be honest i'm not really fanatic about anything anymore. i really have no idea why, am i just getting older or do i need to get out more?
me, my friend and his dad walked really fast for 30 minutes across Dublin to get to the 02, and we arrived there at exactly 6:33. the first 2,000 people to get in got wrist bands and could stand close, and we weren't one of the first 2,000. BUT, some awesome guy was handing out wrist bands and luckily we got into the first 2,000 crowd! i was so happy
when it was all over, i went home and fell asleep like any other night, but with my ears ringing. i believe that was due to the girls screaming beside me, their piercing screams made me feel like my head would explode!

i keep rehashing getting closer to the stage in my mind. even though i realize i enjoyed it and it was the best fucking night ever, sometimes the thought of not getting closer outweighs the joy of the concert. and it shouldn't, it really shouldn't. i was very happy with where i was standing. this happened after Oxegen as well.
