- Ich über mich
- The impeccable songwriting combination of David Sparrow, David Bloomfield and Rob Hughes coupled with Sparrow's wholesome full-bodied voice have helped to make The Whiskey Saints a shining star in the Los Angeles music world. Add Jeff Bell on the drums and you've got a band that's as equally explosive as it is expressive as they deliver their rock infused country, that enjoys honeyed-harmonies just as much as thunderous guitars. Their Alt-Country sound favors rock to twang and The Whiskey Saints' commitment to the integrity of their craft resides within their demure character. With influences like Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, Wilco and Tom Petty it's not hard to understand why The Whiskey Saints cherish the American tradition of lyricism and strong melodies.
Their first full length studio album, "West", was produced by up and coming producer Jim Dineen and released October of 2008. It chronicles the pursuit of something you love in a city that doesn't always love you back.
