As the sun breaks through, On the mist and dew, On a grave-yard on a hill,

Them who gave their word, And took up the sword, In the Ulster Volunteers.
As the buglar blows, O"er the graves in rows, The last post fades away,
As the valley sounds,On deaths great grounds, Where our fallen comrades lie,
With our standards proud, Once their deathbeds shroud, We will come from far and near,
To salute our dead, And the roles they played, With the Ulster Volunteers.
As the sun does low, And the shadows grow, On the headstones row upon row,
As the night surrounds, Each hallowed grounds, Where our comrades lie below,
We can hear the beat, Of their marching feet, You may even feel them near,
As they parade away, At the end of day,
