Just gona keep this short and sweet as I have a shitload of college work to be doing!

Myself and Chad are currently recording new tracks for our debut LP... The albums getting produced 100 miles away from Glasgow so as you can imagine it's taking ages.... Don't worry though it will be worth it in the end Its also getting distributed through Only Gone Records in Belfast. onlygone.com

Can't really give you a tracklist or a list of apperences as of yet but there will be tonnes of funny tunes and random banter that me and chad have. Theres also a serious element to the album, I wont get into it now.

So yea new songs coming in the next coming months....

p.s cheers to everyone who came along to my 21st birthday party last month, was litterly the best night of my life.

I’ve decided to this every year for some reason; if you’re not interested don’t read it’s simple!

So.... It’s that time of year again... Jesus how fucking quickly has 2008 gone by? I can’t believe it. 2008 has been a good year in many ways but a shit year in parts too. Last new year I promised myself I’d try and learn more about myself and things around me and I think I have done pretty well.. I’ve grown up a lot in the past year and I’m starting to believe in fate... (Scary isn’t it?).

Highlights for me were getting our first single under our belt and the response we’ve had over it was amazing, we played some great gigs and we had such a laugh (especially at Ashton Lane) big up to Emma for getting us that gig! Us getting signed to Only Gone was a great moment too, I didn’t think a Label would be interested in myself and Chad for quite some time, it just goes to show you never know till you send a demo off! Egypt was a great first holiday, A complete eye opener right enough but a great place to go.

I’ve had some great nights out with my mates too. Tumbleweeds birthday was a belter of a night and random nights out with Stornaway and Becca were good, my sister’s 18th was pretty good too. Pendulum was a great gig and Frightened Rabbit were amazing (there going to be massive watch out for them).

Although 2008 has been a good year for me I’ve had some dark moments. You take life for granted and you take people for granted until someone close to you dies. When Alistair died I never felt a pain like it before, I’ll never forget that day and I’ll never forget him. I’m currently finishing off a song for him, I’m still undecided if I’ll be releasing it I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. I’m not too sure if I believe in heaven yet but I do believe in the afterlife and I just hope he’s happy wherever he is. My friend Laura also past away I hope she’s happy too. Anyway less of the depressing shit lol

So what am I looking forward to most next year? Getting our album finally finished and getting it out! Its taking ages I know but it will be worth it in the end Big ups to Chad. And thanks to Marcus MacKay, James Grey, Davey Matchett, Halina and Gary Lightbody for giving us the chance to do our own thing. I’m also looking forward to finishing college with a hnd (let’s hope) and going to Greece for my big sisters wedding, that’s going to be a belter of a holiday.

Anyway now i’m getting bored.... I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Big shout out to all my friends and family! Xx
