The past few hours had been a complete blur for Robert. He had no idea what was going on. All he could concentrate on was the aching of his muscles. His arms were tied behind his back and he guessed that they had been for a while now. Damn, what had happened? His vision was blurred, but coming back slowly. Robert’s skull ached – he must’ve been hit around the head or something. He made some kind of moaning noise as he came to and let his spinning vision straighten up before his blue eyes fixed on a man standing in front of him. At the sight, Robert almost recoiled. Well, he tried to anyway. The man looked familiar, but he couldn’t put his finger on who he was.
“What do you want? Who are you?!” he asked immediately, firing out question after question from who he was to where he was. This day was definatly going to top on his scariest days ever. There was one other thing Robert Langdon didn’t ask.
“Is my family safe...?”
