So one of the locals kindly decided to take me bushwalking the other day, had a nice day, saw some beautiful views and was happy to have some photos of natural beauty not me pissed with my arm draped round some random.

Got home that night and realised my foot was very itchy, i thought, 'fecking ants, why wont they stop biting me' anyways next morning woke up foot was all swollen up, and stiff to walk on, went to work anyways, locals took a look at it and told me it was a spider bite as there were two prong marks near my ankle, and i should watch incase it was a white tale spider as their bites can rot ur flesh. Anyways i was a bit nervous at this stage but thought i'll be alright and swelling will go down, went home after work and my foot was now starting to turn purple/black and swelling was NOT going down, so ended up going to hospital to get it looked at and going on a course of anbtibiotics. Talk about my worst fear coming true!! Being bit by a fecking spider!!!

all good now tho, foot is almost normal size and colour and have left the dangerous spider and snake infested outback to chill for few days on beach resort with the girls.

Right....just a wee blog cus im shit at writing emails lately so heres the craic....and also i know Aaron is dying to know if i ever ran into that crazy thai lady again......

After heading to W.A to work in the outback back in may for 7 weeks, saving shitloads and having an absoloute ball learning to pull pints, starting bonfires, shouting at police and generally misbehaving with the locals, we headed back to melbourne to see if we could re-learn how to intergrate in to society (obviously it didn't work to well cus im back in the arsehole of nowhere AGAIN) , and spend all our hard earned cash travelling through oz., we also thought we would never have to work in oz again. So we thought let the fun begin and got a train all the way through central australia, visited adelaide (shit place, never go, the height of excitement was a chinese and the fun we made ourselves back at the hostel) then up to alice springs ( place was dead when we got there, then we found out it was a public holiday, and everywhere was closed) stayed in a cool wee hostel, where the manager was from letterkenny, and ended up getting blocked. This is also where we met 'Vinnie Vegas' some dude from L.A who sounded like a cross between some crips gang member and a hillbilly from louisianna. But he came out with some crackers, which are unsuitable to be posted on bebo. Anyways...so we went to see the big red rock on a tour for a few days, worked like bloody 20k over the weekend and camped in swags around a campfire under the stars, absoloutley amazing, shooting stars everwhere you like, i've never seen anything like it before...and the big red rock was alright too. Back on the ghan again, and we travelled up to Katherine in the Noprthern Territory, where we went canoing, and then up to Darwin, where we partied hard, had a ball, and met some absoloute legends. After a week and a half ravaging our bank accounts, we decided shit, time to get out of here and make our way to Broome, after some stress we finally got a car and insurance sorted and hit the road for a 3 day road trip to broome. 8 hours later "BANG' we wake up from our sleep cus we've decapitated a kangaroo and wrote of our car, and were stuck in the middle of nowhere (v.literally) with no recpetion. luckily a truck driver comes to our rescue and tows us to the nearest truck stop (scariest car journey of my life might i add, thought the concrete blocjks he was transporting were gunna come through the windscreen and lights out!) . We get stuck there for a few days cus the insurance company were a bunch of wangholes and wouldnt send anyone to get us or give us a new car, so through the genorosity of absolute strangers, we got to stay at the campsite for free for a few days, locals got us a few rounds of beers and kept us entertained for a few days, and we ended up getting a lift back to Darwin with an absoloute gent who also took us on a trip to see waterfalls and rock pools at litchfield national park which was like 150km out of his way.

So, we found ourselves in the black money hole that is darwin again, running out of time to do the east coast. It was hard enough to get out of the first time but the second time was even worse! We couldnt afford flights or buses, and non os had alicense between us! So we resorted to doing the terribly european backpacker thing of advertising for lifts on hostel walls!! So we waiuted and waited, and no one called us untill oneday we got a voicemail from this american guy interested in going, now he did sound abit hyper and american on the phone, but we were desperate, so i rang him back and arranged to met outside an internet cafe. Off we went to met him and no sign of him, so i gave him a ring, he goes 'oh yeah i can see you guys, im right across the road' we look over and see a cowboy hat, and a hand waving from the chemist across the street. Okaaay, so he's wearing a cowboy hat, well thats ok we thought. We decide to give him a minute to finish what he's doing in

Extensive partying done this Easter weekend. Hi fiiiiveee Flandogg. Though we didnt get to see any surfing, as the peeling ourselves off the bed was proving too difficult, even with the incentive of beaches, tanned chests, and surfing! However were DEFINITLEY gunna go next week.

Though the highlight of the weekend has to be myself and Emma Rodgers getting into Area 51 for free! Met some dude walking down the street with records and dj equipment, offered him a hand...off we waltzed in through the door, carrying the records, a nod to the receptionist, and away into the club! I was waiting for two big hands to grab me on the shoulders and steer me out onto the street any second, (like that time in the Kremlin) but it never happened! Poor wee Ashlene was left to pay in! Best of it was that guy wasn't even djing there! lol. So I think we've found our calling, sack this paying into places..blagging all the way!
