- My First Music is a community based music promotions co-operative. MFM was formed in May 2007 with the intention of rejuvenating the Ayrshire music scene.
The group comprises of like-minded individuals with backgrounds in music promotion, production and performance. One of our aims is to create a sense of community among local bands and music fans. MFM also seeks to establish links with organisations and local companies associated with music. Communication and interaction is key but so is having a good time.
Initially we are adopting a back-to-basics approach. Small, well organised shows with the emphasis on good music. MFM always use a professional PA system and sound engineer to ensure great sounding gigs. We also take care of printing our own tickets, flyers and posters and take a pro-active approach to ensuring our events are well publicised. The money raised from MFM gigs shall be used to further develop and promote music in Ayrshire.
