Beat 102 103 is the regional station for the South East of Ireland. It is the only station licenced to cover counties Wexford; Waterford; Carlow; Kilkenny and South Tipperary. Since our launch on July 1st 2003, we've established ourselves as the market leader among young adults across the South East.

The station is music driven with a broad mix of new and recent music which our target audience has told us they want to hear. Added to that, we offer news and talk programming relevant to young adults.

Beat 102 103 is now the most powerful and effective advertising medium in the region as it delivers the largest audience of any radio station in the South East.

      Club Whitford & Beat 102 103 launch “Celebrity Bainisteoir Boot Camp”

      Five Celebrities, Five Local Charities and YOU

      Celebrating 125 years of GAA, Five of Wexford’s ’96 All Ireland Hurling team go head to head for Five local Charities in “Club Whitford’s 6 Week Body Transformation Challenge”. The Bainisteoirs line up as follows: Larry Gorman, Tom Dempsey, Larry Murphy, Ger Cushe and Shane Carley. All they need now is YOU.

      Each mentor will take on 5 people to be part of their team and together with Club Whitford’s personal trainer Michael Bolger they will whip you into shape for the New Year.

      Larry O Gorman said, Club Whitford Boot Camp is not for the faint hearted it’s going to be tough, but equally it will be extremely rewarding as we battle against each other not to mention all that the Christmas festivities have to throw at us, but at the end of the day it’s all about changing our mindset and in the process raising much needed funds for Charity.

      So it you are a team player, In need of a Kick start, ready to quit the excuses, determined to improve your health & fitness but in need of that extra bit of motivation call Club Whitford 053 91 40404 NOW (All entries should be in by Monday 23rd November as the Challenge starts 30th November)

      The Five Charities that stand to benefit from “Celebrity Bainisteoir Boot Camp” are: “The Special Olympics, RNLI Rosslare Harbour Lifeboats, St Gabriels Childrens Ward Wexford Hospital, The Tracy Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis and Console/1Life Suicide Awareness & Prevention Centre Wexford”.       Kilkenny natives Anne Marie Malone and Dave O’Toole are Friday’s Runaway Bride Couple.

      From Kilmacow and Tullogher respectively they currently reside in Mullinavat. They have been together for seven and a half years and have two children.


      Both Ann Marie and Dave describe themselves as happy, crazy, poor, chaotic but all in the name of love. Pet Hates include people who don’t indicate while driving, ignorance , snobbery, meaness and not putting the toilet seat down.


      When asked what couple they admire, both Ann Marie and Dave think highly of Niall and Gillian Quinn’s relationship due to the high pressure position that Niall holds and how that pressure hasn’t changed their relationship or their family unit.


      When asked how far she might go on €50 , Ann Marie says Lismore House Hotel ---- on her wedding day!


      Winning the Runaway Bride competition would mean everything to Ann Marie and Dave as they see it as a fantastic way to confirm to everyone they know including the population of the South East their love for each other and indeed their children.

      They have always wanted this wedding and whilst this would make their dreams come through to it would also be a perfect fitting end to their engagement.

      Denise Roche & Mark Ronan

      Wexford natives Denise Roche & Mark Ronan are Thursdays Runaway Bride couple.

      Both from and living in New Ross, Denise and Mark have been together for the past 8 and a half years.

      Both have a wealth of hobbies which include swimming, walking the dog, films, socialising, reading and horse racing.

      Their adventure for travel has also taken them both home and abroad with a swim in the river Nile being one of their highlights.

      Describing themselves as happy, funny, loving, thoughtful, loyal, soul mates along with being perfect for each other

      When asked how far she might go on €50 , Denise reckons Greece or Bulgaria could be achievable although the possibilities are endless so maybe another continent!!!

      Winning the Runaway Bride competition would mean everything to Denise and Mark as Denises mother passed away 18mths ago before they got engaged. Bringing their families together to celebrate this special occasion without any worries would mean so much to them.
