- Viva! is a vegetarian/vegan non-profit organization which campaigns to end animal suffering, improve our health, protect the environment and bring fairness to the world’s poor by helping people stop eating animals and animal products.
Every year in Britain, more than 7 billion animals face the barbarity of slaughter - many fully conscious. Most spend their short, brutal lives in confinement, pain and misery.
We are determined to end cruelty to animals and to work for a saner, sustainable future. Through our solid research, undercover exposes and professional media skills, we are bringing the reality of modern farming into people’s homes. We have enlightened millions, shocked most and changed the diets of many. We have had many successes. Support Viva! and help us achieve even more.

Anti-Fur rally - a message from the WARN Network
This year's annual anti-fur march and rally will take place around Knightsbridge in London, which continues to be a major centre of the fur trade. In this fashionable part of London, there are dozens of shops selling fur of all kinds. The march will take us past many of these shops such as Fendi, Gucci and Armani, current campaign targets such as Escada and Joseph, and not forgetting Harrods, the only department store in the UK which still sells fur.
London activists are out all year round campaigning against this trade, this march will be a chance for us to show our solidarity with them, and our determination to see this trade ended once and for all.
Please start making travel plans now, and we hope to see you in London on October 17th.
Groups and individuals are arranging transport from various parts of the country, please contact us if you can offer a lift to other protestors, or if you need a lift, and we will put you in touch with others in your areas.
Publicity
We are producing flyers to advertise the march, please let us know if you would like us to send you some.
For more details contact london@caft.org.uk
National Anti-Fur Week - Saturday 17th - Saturday 24th October
The Anti-Fur March also marks the beginning of National Anti-Fur Week, which is organised each year by CAFT.
During Anti-Fur week we are asking campaigners across the country to do at least one action against the fur trade, whether it's a protest outside a shop in your area which sells fur, or maybe a street stall to give out information to the public about the horrors of the fur trade and how they can stop it.
Contact us for more details, we can supply leaflets, posters and other materials. We may also be able to put you in contact with others in your area who are taking part. Also if you let us know what you are doing for Anti-Fur Week, we can publicise it on the website and maybe get more people involved. National Anti-Fur Week - Saturday 17th - Saturday 24th October

September: the Month Britain Goes Veggie in 2009!
Did you know? Veggies save around 11,047 animals simply by not eating them!
Veggies are healthier and happier! Veggies help feed the world’s poorest people by not eating animals fed with food that people could eat! Veggies do their bit every day to protect the environment with their knife and fork!
… and the younger you go veggie the more good you can do – so, help us turn Britain veggie in 2009!
This September, we intend to give millions more people a gentle shove down the wonderful road of healthier, cruelty-free, environment-saving, people-protecting veggie living! We have the materials but we need your help to get the message out there to the people who can really make a difference – meat eaters.
Even a few hours of your time can make a world of difference. Every single person who decides to ditch meat because of your actions means you are directly helping to save the lives of thousands of animals. How’s that for good karma?!
To find out what you can order (for free!) email Liam at liam@viva.org.uk.
