- Born in Barcelona, Spain, Irene Bauzá (IreneB) was introduced to the world of r&b/soul music at the tender age of 6. She was raised listening to R&B music such as Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, just to name a few, that inspired her to pursue her own career as a singer/songwriter.
In 2006, due to the success of the "Mi Realidad" release, IreneB was introduced to the idea of Platinum producer Frankie Biggz, and after several conversations, the introduction became reality when the two finally met for the first time to record.
After two years of constantly traveling between Spain and the US for hardcore recording sessions with Mr. Biggz she has just established her residence in Orlando, FL. Now “Metamorphosis” (her first English record) is ready to hit the stores in fall of this year. This album will turn IreneB into the first Spaniard ever to release a complete English R&B album worldwide.
