I have a great husband and am the mother of two wonderful daughters.
I joined Bebo hoping to find long-lost friends from FGBI, years 1973 to about 1978. If any of you all are out there, I'd love to renew our friendship. Other friends are also more than welcome to stop by for a visit, leave a comment, or whatever. I certainly don't want to leave out anyone.

- Music
- Music is a large part of my life. I play piano for church and also teach piano. I enjoy a large variety of music - Worship, Hymns, Traditional Christian, Southern Gospel, Gospel, Instrumentalist, Marching Band music, Oldies and Easy Listening, Classical, Carribbean Island music, Polka's and Folk music from other countries, fun music from the 50's - 60's, Ragtime, a little Country and Bluegrass, and especially Christmas music . The only type of music I hate and makes me cringe is disgusting vulgar music coming from another vehicle while I'm stopped at a traffic light. (I hate that type of music all the time, but the only time I hear it is at traffic lights.)
- Films
- My all time favorite in spite of a few unnecessary words, is My Fair Lady. I also like The Sound of Music, The Love Comes Softly Series, and . . . get ready to laugh . . . I love Madam Blueberry (Veggie Tales). The Blue Danube Waltz will never be the same for me!
- Sports
- Never have been much of a sports fan or a participant. I like adventure more so than sports.I have learned to enjoy snorkeling (even though I can't swim) because that's the only way I'm going to get to see God's magnificent underwater creation. I love being on boats of any kind, parasailing and hot air balloons. I enjoy hiking and camping, although the older I get the more painful it gets. Another thing that has become sort of a hobby is treasure hunting with my metal detector and gem mining.
- Scared Of
- Not too many things scare me, but if I am at home and hear a siren at a time when one of my family members should be on their way home, I become a bit nervous.
- Happiest When
- On vacation enjoying God's amazing world. 2nd happiest during those rare moments when relaxing peacefully in my sunroom with no interruptions and no worries.
- Other Hobbies
- Computering (is that a word??)
Handwork such as sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet.
Learning new musical instruments. Currently trying to learn the Ukulele which my daughter brought me from Hawaii. I'm most definitely not an artist, but I enjoy messing around with computer graphics. - BIBLE STORIES

Yes, alone time once in awhile is wonderful. When my husband is gone, many times I don't even turn on the radio, but just enjoy the quiet. My girls think I'm a little strange, but I have been known in the past to take my time grocery shopping just because it is time alone! I don't do it much anymore, but when the girls were little, I took advantage of that time often
