He smiled and stroked her face gently,
"You are very precious to me, love. I would not end your life for my happiness..." He kissed her forehead with infinite tenderness.

"The reason I left was so you would stay human! Stay alive, I couldn't trust myself not to change you." His voice raised in volume, "And then that..That-" His face was rigid with anger, "That upstart comes along..."

He laughed,
"Im a killer? That rich coming from the wannabe Vlad of Tepes..." He snorted once more and nodded to nicole,
"He was going to change you. I wont have that."

Alisdair kept one hand around shane but grunted in pain as the knife sunk in. Knowing what he was about to do would anger and hurt nicole he braced himself. PUlling the knife from his shoulder, he stabbed it through Shane's hand and into the wall behind. Pinnin the younger vampire in place. He then grabbed the one on his back and threw it face first into the wall. Before turning to face the last remaining group member he sighed and knocked shane out with a brick which had been lying on the ground.
"You wanna play the evil goon or you gonna split?" He said calmly to the remainin vampire.

The laugh that ripped out of Alisdair was forced and intimidating,
"Move on little boy. You don't know who you're dealing with. Get your blood fix somewhere else."
He grabbed Shane by the lapels and lifted him from the ground, so he was eye to eye with Alisdair. He bared his teeth, inches from shanes face, they were devilishly sharp.

He shook his head. This whelp didn't know who he was dealing with. He stood and pushed off the ground, landing directly in front of shane and nicole. The other boys looked on in confusion, Alisdair smirked, it wasn't a huge deal, he had simply jumped, they of course thought it was magic. Bloody fledglings.

He stood still as stone, jaw set, eyes flickering from Shane to Nicole, who he smiled at.

Alisdair felt a bristling of anger. He looked at the whelp of a fledgling with open, ungaurded hostility. The power radiated off of him and he made it clear that he was capable of causing unspeakable pain to this insolent little stripling. He reached into shanes mind and sent the message with no mercy:

Alisdair noticed a group of teens and noted Nicole among them. He sighed and looked away, praying she wouldn't notice him. He didn't have the strength to walk away from her for the second time and her 'friend' shane would surely recognise one of his own kind.

Alisdair sat on a bench in the park, mildly tracing the outlines of the plaque with his index finger. He sighed and began to whistle, trying to push all thoughts from his mind.

Alisdair sighed, how could she understand who he was? What he was...
He shook his head and ambled along the boardwalk, lost in his own thoughts.

He liftted his phone and texted breifly. a soft smile on his face,
Sorry. Had to go. Ill explain one day xx

He watches then dissappers

He stood and looked at the house for a while, then moved away. Walking into the darkness with a quiet ease, and soon he became a part of it.

Shane: ''Oh..''

"I can never stay too long in one place... It unnerves me. Im used to moving, being a nomad." He smiled apologetically. They stopped outside of her house, he kissed her hand, "It was good seeing you again."
