À propos de moi: I, Steve Wallis, initially formed Galaxia in 2005, shortly before the G8 summit in Gleneagles (Scotland), at a Manchester recording studio. The band consisted of Adam from the Cutting Rooms on acoustic guitar and myself doing vocals. We did recordings of two songs I wrote - "Do They Know It's G8 Time?" to the tune of the Band Aid song "Do They Know It's Christmas?", and a long and very political song I wrote called "The Revolution Starts Now!".

A (non-violent) anarchist known as Steve the Pro did a brilliant and very funny dance mix of "The Revolution Starts Now!" in 2008.

I reformed Galaxia in October 2008, just with Jonny Faders (on acoustic guitar in "Things Can Only Get Bitter" and on piano in "Donovan's Doorway"). I am still looking for band members; if you are interested in joining Galaxia, on a permanent basis or just for the odd recording session, please let me know (preferably by ringing or texting 07725 735255).
