after one match, mr kennedy has been released. it's not 100% clear why yet but many think it was the back suplex to orton on his injured colerbone.

the next match ricky steamboat v chris jericho was a match that if you havent watched or seen ricky steamboat wrestle before, the match would have ment nothing. chants from the crowd saying "you still got it!" where heard. but in the end a walls of jericho submited the dragon in what could be his last match ever.

cm punk v kane. every ppv there is at least one match that nobody could give a damn about cause it never delevers. this was that match. kane is terribly out of shape and 100% overated. and cm punk who seems to be getting to much attention at the moment. this is a match that you could see on smackdown for free. deffinetly not worth paying for. in the end kane won with a fake looking botchslam.(i mean chokeslam)

hardy v hardy was a "i quit" match with alot of hype going towards it, but not enough wepons or tables where used until the very end. but this didnt make the match any less intresting. twist of fates all around the place and back to back swantons. but the most unique hardcore moment for a long time was when jeff taped matts arms and legs together on a table, then roped him down. setting up a ladder matt hardy then apologized saying im sorry where brothers, we should be the closet bond, and we could make the hardy boyz return. after this he said "i quit". but this didnt stop jeff with a leg drop from the ladder.
match 7.5/10

the six man tag match (which i was suprised wasnt the main event considering all the build up it got) was suprisingly not as good as anyone expected. pretty much headlocks throught the whole match. the match was much longer than it needed to be. towards the end it picked up when triple h came in, while cody rhodes gave shane and batista chair shots behind the refs back. as triple h locked in the pedigree he saw batista raise the chair and took it off him. as he turned around orton hit with the rko which the ref hit the matt for three and the bell rang, but he called it off. so randy lined up for the punt which almost took hhhs head off, sealing the victory. after the match orton pretty much ran from the arena while paramedics took hhh away.
match 6.5/10

the main event and i believe one of the best matches of the year. the last man standing match, edge v cena got an additude ajustment from the top rope and one into the crowd. it ended up edge running through the crowd and up to the front of the entrance through to the backlash setting. after a ddt on the steal cena still got up. that when the big show came out and chokeslamed cena into a spotlight.(for anyone who thinks its fake, if you watch the replays you see his back smasht the glass and cena all cut up. plus the amn things on fire.) so edge won by the countand cena was taken out by paramedics
match 9/10

i apologize for not being able to watch wrestlemania 25. but from watching it on youtube it didnt look like anything speacil and i wont get started on cm punk.

so to kick off baclash there was the ecw champonship match. cristian cage v jack swagger was a farely good match and well paced. but its obvious that the commentators overate swagger. but in the end swagger took off a turnbuckle (or whatever you call it) and the ref turned his back to put it back on. so swagger charged christian, but christian had the turnbuckle off aswell makin swagger go head first, folowing with a killswitch.
