Today is a very productive and creative writing day for me and currently at a writers block with both books! so i thought pass this time and would add a bit more to this page and give an insight into Rebecca (maybe get richard to do the same with Daniel?)

If you have read the first 6 chapters you may be starting to get your own idea of who they are and what you think of them so from one of the writers points of view, i.e. why i created Rebecca here is the one o one on Rebecca Watchford.

The Background stuff i can say without ruining a story line:
Rebecca Sophia Watchford is a 25 yer old business woman living and working in Positano Italy. Born in Glasgow to her father Henry Watchford and her mother. Clara Isabella Allen who later remarried Alessandro Moretti when Rebecca and her mother moved from Glasgow to Italy.

Rebecca's job - well i can't say to much at this stage in the game but what i can say is that she is co-founder of an information database consultancy which progresses onto bigger things than just the business world it moves into the government.

Why the name Rebecca? - well for three reasons the first being that i used up most of my favourite names or people i know names in my other book and didnt want people thinking i am obsessed with certain names (although they will think i am obsessed with Italy if they read the two) so i had to dig a weee bit deeper to find the perfect name. the scond reson was i needed a name that to me sounded classy sophisticated and strong but also a name that could be cut own to a nick name that spoke more warmth to symbolise a different side to her, or a close connection she has with someone, a nick name that cuts away the formal crap of the business world. and lastly when i was a little girl my first porcelien doll i named rebecca and she was the most beautiful porcelian doll we had and she was victorian and classic looking and very soft and feminine two aspect which i wanted in Rebecca all the time - beautifal and classy and two aspect only certain people get to see - soft and feminine.

Rebecca's personality - well if you havent grasped it she is the ball busting ultimate miss independent who can be an utter cold hearted b*tch but ...(there is always a but)this next part is why i made rebecca this way. for those who knwo me as a writer they know i love more than anything to have at the heart of what i write be some truth to the world or how i see it or what i have lived and experienced. the But in Rebecca is that she is everything i mentioned above the cold hearted bitch etc but Rebecca symbolises that type of person who has had a tough life, alot of heart break and choosing to not be the broken type she choose the other way the girl who puts up walls, doesnt trust people doesnt show her true feelings up front because they are all elements of the little girl she use to be the little girl who couldnt control her fate or the world around her. so she becomes this ice bitch because its the only way she knows how to take ask control of her life and to stand up to others. its something i think that people forget when they meet people, we tend to just see what is infront of us forgetting thats omeone carries a whole bagae witht hem that shapes and moulds exactly who and what they are.
so i think for Daniel the challange he has to face is not to take Rebecca for face value he has to dig deeper to discover whats under the ice.

so what does she think of Daniel: well when she first meets him se doesnt trust him, irratating, doesnt like him sees him as a burden and of course wants her revenge so she is very cold towards him at first. she also doesnt care what he thinks or feels and doesnt care what he thinks of her. as time progresses this does change and discovers that the aspects she didnt like him were infact just because they were mirrowing aspects of her that she wantedto keep hidden and out of her site and for two people very different they do have similarities i.e. p

Just a little note to my family and friends who i have invited and to Mr Mooney.
Some of you were aware i wrote, some didn't, some aware i was working on my novel but not many people knew i was joint writing a story with Richard Mooney, so you may be confused or think this is the one i have been working on for 3 years now, it isn't!
Unaware on how long exactly myself and Richard have been working on this for but it has been a process of back and forth writing, he writes this then i wrote that. Neither has planned the story out or discussed chapters, we just write our chapter how we vision it when it comes to our turn and it has been a great experience.
Personally speaking also a different writing experience for myself not sure how Batty aka Richard feels on this one. But when i first spoke to Richard we could not be more different in ideas and writing styles and writing this is different to my other stuff (for example weeks of researching, compiling note books on ideas etc).
I remember a heated debate with Richard where we argued on writing styles myself stating that a true artist relates to themselves, writes what they know has an inner self core embedded in it and relates to not only themselves but other peoples worlds and opinions and feelings, very touchy feeling i know and Richard very for being controversial, shaking things up, making the world go Wow and change peoples opinions. so you are probably thinking how on earth did they two manage to compile a story together and thats a mystery even to myself, for some reason we just have! adapated and learned from the other and for those who know me i am very opiniated can be judgmental on my passions etc so you should know that i have been very well behaved and adapted to the different styles and opened up to different ideas - a great writing experience for anyone else out there wanting to take on writing - You are always learning, you may not change your ideas and opinions and styles but i think its worth being open to doing so or considering it.
For two people who have never met and have differet views on the world i think we have done a not bad job and hope we continue to do so in finishing it.
