My Reality Tv!
Ok back in December '08 I was involved in a show called Fear Factor: Live
Here is my story:
Was in universal studios fl and was asking this worker man what time the xmas parade was on....then he was like "Hey would you like to be in the parade" and obvoiusly I would so I went with him to find the manager of the parade and we were going to get my costume and then he was like you are 18 arnt you......So was really pissed off that I couldnt be in the parade so really wanted to do something
Then stumbled upon the Fear Factor Live casting building and was watching the auditions for the physical part of the show and I was like no way can I do that
Then a man working in the casting center approached me and was like would I like to participate in the show and I said YEAH so then we had a little chat and I decided that I should do the eating challenges
He then asked me about my allergies and when I cleared it with him that I had none!
Then we went BACKSTAGE
When I was backstage I met the presentor and all the other participants
The people doing the main part of the show(the physical bits) were recording for the show and they were talking about their fears and stuff
Then the show started!!
And because I was such a star my family got FRONT ROW TICKETS to the show!!
I was kinda bunched with the other eaters and then the woman who was going to have to sit down as they put about 10 scorpions on her face!!
The woman was really panicing and stuff and she needed a gas mask!
Then she done her bit with the scorpions and she was screaming and stuff and it was very entertaining!
Then it was my turn!!
I revealed to the audience my fear of heights!
Also the presentor woman asked me what name I had chosen
I didnt know!
She said I was representing IRELAND, hence I was team Ireland!!
We were the fourth part of the show
And guess what I ate??
First I ate disgusting slimy ehh slimy sea food shit (normally I love sea food!!)
Then I drank some out of date milk and it had lumps in it.....just rotten!
I then ate meat with mould and stuff on it!
Then the last and worst part
I ate LIVE WORMS!! Lots of them aswel!!
Just to point out at this stage I was competing against 3 other people
I completed all of my food in 21.5 seconds!!!!
Unfortunately I was just beaten by this other guy who done it in 20 s
I won a PLASTIC CUP!!! But obviously thats not why I done it
The real prise was the fame I got!
After the show people were walking up to me pathing me on the back, asking me was the stuff I ate real, did it taste bad etc
Oh and I attracted some Irish fans, one woman came up and said her Gran Mother is from Clare and well done etc
The fame lasted 2 days!!
Loved every minute of it!!

So I didn't get it!
A few stories, etc. from my holiday!
Ehm... I found out that Torremolinos is a town outside of Málaga...
Lemme see... only three days ago I was on a sort of rocky pier... like the one on the Quay, and I was dangling my feet in the water... I felt what I thought was a piece of seaweed on my foot and so I lifted up my feet outta the water, and it was a bloody octopus!
And wwe rented these pedal boats with slides on top... you prob know them, and just before our time was up I spotted a tenner on the seafloor (the water was really clear) and I didn't have goggles so I was kinda thinkin' of gettin' it... I was about to when the guy said we have to bring the boat back!
Our apt. was very nice, seaview from the 2x12 ft balcony!
Em... Patrick, I think... it was about 2 weeks ago now, so I'm not quite sure...
And if not - book it quick!
