The Tenemants are a new Glasgow’s upbeat/indie band.
Currently earning a reputation as a phenomenal live act.
Four young musicians from Glasgow formed this new band and have created one of the most exciting sounds in years.
it sounds so familiar whilst sounding like nothing you have ever heard, Comparisons to other bands are pointless, as there is nothing around at the moment that sounds like The Tenemants, To really appreciate these guys though you have to see them live. The guitars are up, the drums are pounding and the vocal sounds just as good as they do on the track. They are destined for success!

    Whether it's the Scots-accent singing style, they are the band we have been waiting for.

    Quiffed and dressed in urban clothing, Donald Martin may sing with an East End of Glasgow accent but he has a tender heart, the hardman with a soft centre.

    When the band, Donald Martin(vocals) Steven nolan (guitar), Mark Knox (bass) and Scott Irving (drums) won the battle of the bands in glasgows sports cafe in oct 08 they said to the crowd ,you havent seen or heard the last of us yet.

    The Tenemants are a working-class band that speak for all of Scotland.

    Whether it's pretty eyes,bars,remember me or glasgow they sing, they are a band with something for everyone.

    By mixing the whole bands influences between them, together,from bands like The libertines, The band, stereophonics,Stone Roses, the view, James and of course the ronelles, it comes out with a top class cocktail of sounds you've got a band like no other.
