- Shadowbane is officially classified as a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying game (MMORPG or MMO for short)
Shadowbane uses many elements from strategy games such as city building, sieges, territory conquest, and tactical formations and weds them to a game system similar to other fantasy MMORPGs. Players level and adventure in Shadowbane as they do in other MMOs.
Rather than focusing on the story arc of the single character and taking the game no further, Shadowbane extends the experience by creating a backdrop of political intrigue and warfare for players to become engrossed in. Players can join together to form guilds, raise armies and conquer Kingdoms. Leaders marshal their strength to build temples and forts.Armies battle their rivals to control resource mines crucial to their kingdoms' growth. And when diplomacy fails, legions and and siege engines batter down the walls of cities, and the destinies of player nations are decided on virtual battlefields.

- From my perspective shadowbane is definately the best MMORPG i have played. Although it may lack graphics (with a good computer you wouldnt notice) it is still the best strategic and political game to play online. The game consists of creating a character at the beginning to your liking. This includes 4 different classas such as a Healer, a Fighter, a Rogue, or Mage and many races such as Human, Aelfborn, Centaur, Dwarf,
Minotaur, Vampire, Irekie, Elf, B
ird, Half Giants, Nephilms and Shades. - After Character Creation
- Once you set foot on the land of aerynth you will kill low level mobs until you reach level 20.The good thing about this game is levelling doesnt take long and you should reach level 20 in 1 hour. At this point you should be looking for a guild, tell people about yourself and your intentions, play-time etc here on the server enlistment-->http://ubbforums.ubi.com Once you find a nation they will usually ask you to join their vent (this is where you can talk to them via a mic).Most guilds will recuire this as it is needed for teamwork or even just getting to know one another. When you level your character you can see how you do fighting other people by teleporting/running around the world. Group vs Group fights usually take place in hotzones/mines and banes. A Hotzone is an area randomely selected every 3 hours where you get double experience when levelling and extra resources/gold drops from mobs. - Most of the playersbase consists of NA (america/canada), Europeans and Asians.The reason this page was set up is to influence more europeans as many may not have heard of it as it is mainly only advertised in america and asia.

You Dont Have To Buy It, Ubisoft Created Shadowbane Along With Some Other Compeny, I Cant Remember The Name.
Shadowbane Communications Is Kinda Annoying, Gotta Click Through Menus For "Tells ,Group , Say, Shout, Nation & Guild" Chat. Takes Some Getting Use To.
But Why Use Shadowbanes Chat When You Have Ventrilo & Teamspeak, Download For Free, Just Ask Your Guild To Give The IP Adress And Port Numbers, Its Easy As Pie!
However, If Your English The Americans Have A Thing For Taking The Piss!
