FRIENDS WITHOUT FACES
We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens.
We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.
With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze,
Looking for something or someone, as we sit in a daze.
We chat with each other, we type all our woes;
Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.
We wait for somebody to type out our name.
We want recognition, but it is always the same.
We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt.
In IMs we chat deeply and reveal why we hurt.
We do form friendships, but why, we don't know
How some of these friendships will flourish and grow.
Why is it that on screen we can be so bold,
Telling our secrets, that have never been told?
Why is it we share the thoughts in our mind
With those we can't see, as though we were blind.
The answer is simple; it is clear as a bell.
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.
We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must.
So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.
Even though it is crazy. the truth still remains.
They are "Friends Without Faces", and odd little names.

Alone they stand within the crowd
Upright with head slightly bowed
Veteran’s Day here once again
Fewer now to share memory and pain
Memories abound within their head
Of comrades long ago lost or dead
They were so young and so very bold
Serving their country is what they were told
Leaving home and country for a foreign war
Never forgetting nor sharing all that they saw
So many not returning to be here today
For freedom the full price they did pay
But their brave and fighting spirit is still here
For they are the reason we now live without fear
They are reason for the freedom we now see
And they are the reason that we are still free
To the veterans there is so much we do owe
As unknowing about our daily lives we go
We live neither in fear, humble or meek
Thankful that our own language we still speak
Our National flag is waving so proud
Our National Anthem is sung so loud
For veterans today are the Heroes of War
Remember them still when they here are no more
If a veteran you happen to meet
Whether family or stranger in the street
Take the time for a thank you to say
Bless them all and not only on Veteran’s Day

a teacher who was a rangers fan was explaining to her class what a rangers fan was,"so hands up whos a rangers fan,"being only a young class most of them put up their hand not really knowing what a rangers fan was,however one girl didnt put up her hand,,getting angry the the teacher asked the girl "why arent you a rangers fan",?im a celtic fan cause my parents are "she replied, so if your parents were idiots what would you be?
