He quickly got to his feet and he grabbed his military coat which had been dangling over the back of his chair. He looked to his vortex manipulator, putting in a code before he vanished instantly in a light; he soon reappeared down a street that was not too far from the TARDIS. He wondered if there was much of a reason behind him being back or if it was just for refuelling.

Jack had sent the team home early, they need not be there any longer according to Jack, they only had paperwork to do and most of it was done, Jack never liked paperwork it was always so dull, he liked doing things in the field instead. It was much more interesting than sitting at a desk and writing reports. Jack let out a light breath of air, his deep blue eyes glancing towards what he called his ‘Doctor tracking device’ although it was just his hand in a jar. His arms crossed his chest as he leaned back in his chair listening to the only sounds that were going through the hub – the sound of machines buzzing and the small sound of the Weevils growling. He was about to go down the stairs from his office to check on the Weevils when he saw a light emitting from The Doctor’s hand. “He’s back?”, he muttered, a half smile coming across his face.
