ok so i have a question for ya, is it actually possible to write something in this section that doesnt sound entirely cheesy??
Music
ooooooooo c i never stick to one thing, it chages so often that putting it on here would be a waste of time!!
Films
mostly i like to watch films that are funny cheesy and dont require too much thought, but sometimes i surprise myself!
Sports
dancin, i love dancing, i cant go to my classes that i used to go to anymore coz i grew up too much but i still really love to dance.
Drinks
Coca cola, i think im adicted!! its bad!!
Happiest When
lying on a comfy couch with a good friend having a really interesting conversation... watching a good film with friends and good food...feeling very inspired...it is sunny and i am enjoying nature...things work out...
Scared Of...
Spiders!! Being rejected. Not getting married and having kids. Being a dissappointment. Hot things!

    • The wanderer returns

      Ok so I have returned from Morocco now and have posted some pictures for your general amusement! We went as a team of four, 2 boys and 2 girls, much nicer than the team of 11 last time! The time consisted of prayer, making friends, meeting previous friends, playing hackysack with lots of Morccans, going to church things, helping clean a house, trying to communicate with the street ladies who are begging, very hot weather, lots of cockroaches in our bedrooms and lots of trips to the toilet down the hall!!

      The highlight of my time this time I think was on our day off, Allison, Amelie and I went to the hummam (Turkish bath type place). It's one of those experiences that feels really strange at first. However you see so much of Moroccan culture in those places because its not where tourists go, i love it. Also you never feel so clean in your life as when you walk out!

    • Morocco

      Well well well, it has been a while. My latest news is that my Xplore team is going to Morocco! I am very excited about this as i will get to see people i met last year. I am going with Steve, Allison and a boy named Luke. We will be leaving next thursday and spending two weeks there.

      As we have been praying we have heard God say some specific things about what we will do in Morocco. The sciptures we have are psalm 91, psalm 139 and isaiah 52. All of these talk about bringing light into darkness protection from darkness. So we are going to be Gods light, we will be doing things like street work, friendship work, working in a refuge for unwed mothers and helping the long termers set things up.

      I would appreciate your support as I go, we are still very short of financies and also some people on the other team particularly have been getting sick, one has glangula fever. Please will you pray with us for the financial need to be met and for the protection as we go into Morocco (and Portugal for the other team).

    • My Birthday

      Well I need a place to vent so i figured why not here!! On my birthday I left for a conference in Germany, I planned to fly from Preswick to London Stansted then on to Altenburg then a 2 hour drive and Bobs your uncle!

      Instead I... left at 5.25am and got to Prestwick to find my first flight had been cancelled. The next one was full and so the next possible flight was 10.15 which would result in me missing my 9.55 connection. So we drove back to Seamill hopped on the internet and looked through a LOT of options, which were greatly reduced by there being NO spaces on ANY flights from London into ANYWHERE is Germany.

      Problem... so we booked onto a flight from Edunburgh to Munich and set off to Edinburgh. Hopped on that flight no problem and arrived around 4pm. Then got a rental car from Munich and drove the 6 and a half hour drive to Herrnhut. 9 hours later we arrived tired in Herrnhut where we crashed on someones floor for the night.

      I therefore conclude that i did not have a good birthday, however the days surrounding it have been fun.
