  • Parents Info-Holiday Inn- 13th November!

Inferno is Northern Irelands biggest strictly 14 to under 18's credible music event. The event will host 600 teenagers who will be treated to a host of top quality DJ’s and dancers with no parents or guardians allowed.

We have created a list of information with what you might like to know about health and safety, security procedures and what amenities will be available.

Inferno is working directly with the PSNI and Belfast City Council in the following departments: Health & Safety, Child Protection, Environmental Health, Events and Licensing. Together we have put in place systems which will give your teenager a great and safe time.

Translink journey planner will give you the best way of getting to and from the Holiday Inn please go to www.translink.co.uk

We hope the following information answers all your questions and puts you at ease:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1) Inferno will take place in the Olympic Suite of the Holiday Inn, Belfast from 7pm to 11pm on Friday 13th November.

    2) Parents and guardians are advised to excersise due caution when choosing where to pick up and drop off.

    3) There will be experienced security on the entrance door (EventSec Security) who will be asking for ID from those suspected of being over 18 to ensure that only those young people between 14 and 17 are granted entry. Acceptable identification needs to include a photo eg Passports. If the ticket holder is unable provide acceptable ID when required, the security guard will refuse admittance - refunds are not applicable. This is a term of entry.

    4) All ticket holders will enter The back doors of the Holiday Inn. Here their age will be checked and they will be asked to perform a visual search by EventSec Security. Any ticket holders that refuse to perform a visual search or are acting in a suspicious manner will be refused entry by EventSec. This system has been extensively researched and agreed with the local authorities and Police who will also be present.

    5) Inside the venue, Eventsec are responsible for the emergency exit and perimeter security.

    6) There are car parking spaces available in the area surrounding the venue

    7) We expect guardians to equip their teenagers with a mobile phone for the day as there is no public telephone on site. We do have telephone lines in case of emergency only. In the case of emergency, young people should go to the SOS bus welfare area inside the site adjacent to the main entrance of the venue where our staff will provide assistance.

    8) If you insist on driving and collecting your teenagers, firstly please equip them with a fully charged mobile phone for the day. Consult the website map and pick a place and time to meet.

    10) The welfare area at the ''chill out zone'' is the central hub for all child welfare issues on site and will be manned throughout the event by experienced and suitably qualified child welfare and medical staff. It is located in an area directly connected to the main dance hall - if you need to contact the welfare team, please come to the main public entrance to the event and ask security to contact the welfare team. You will not be permitted to enter the event.

    11) Pro Paramedics are providing First Aid services to the event and may be found at the SOS bus welfare area adjacent to the main entrance and by the main stage.

    12) There will be an information point for all enquiries including local transport information. This is located at the SOS bus welfare area by the main entrance of the event.

    13) Please ensure that young people have sufficient money with them as cash points are not available on site.

    14) There will be a soft drinks and light concessions available to purchase in the venue.

    15) Pets of any kind are not permitted

    16) Inferno events are staged in a neutral venue as our aim is to promote a sense of community amongst our teens regardle
