What's up Seether-heads? Troy here and I am feeling pretty good about things. The album has gone gold. You know, I think that it has been gold for a little while, but we were just presented with our gold record plaques in New York last week. Actually they don't have records anymore, so they are CD's and thataren't even gold. Anyway, this is my first gold record and I am still struggling to decide how I feel about it. On one hand I am very excited to finally have something to show my mom and dad to make them feel like all of the years of struggle were worth it. On the other hand, I am the 'new guy' in Seether and I didn't write a note on the record or help to record it. Regardless, I am out on the road supporting the record and doing my best to add something positive to the live show, and to the next album soon enough. I guess there will be a lot of people that want to question my legitimacy until I prove myself, which is fine. I have been paying my dues for years so if I felt like I didn't have anything to prove I wouldn't know what to do. Overall, I feel pretty good about this gold record that I have just been blessed with. It definitely has a story behind it and I am very proud to have been a part of it!

In other news, We were in Nashville Saturday which is not too far from Atlanta so my wife, Amy, and my son, Michael, drove up and spent the day with me. Now, I am ready to rock! It always rejuvenates my soul when I get to spend time with them. This is not a normal life, but then again, what is normal?
